This just isn’t fair or efficient to have them cause destruction and injury with no consequence or push-back.
For years we have heard tools like this one mentioned. We have a number of “crowd control” devices available.
I have been surprised that we haven’t used them. I suppose this is related to local Democrat officials not wanting Federal intervention.
But it makes me wonder how horrific events would have to be for the government to fully deploy every crowd control device we have.
I agree this would be a game changer. But the lawsuits that would fly, the quack doctors that would diagnose “skin cancer” over the slightest skin blemish, the media spouting “torture” of civilians, would all make this a disaster if used.
Save this for military uses. I’d rather see the return of good ol’ fashioned water cannons instead.
I know it’s myth, but I wish there really was a directed energy device known as the “crap cannon” which makes rioters lose bowel control.
I have wondered aloud and many times here on FR: “Why not fire hoses to disperse the protestors and wash them to the gutters where they belong?”
Other countries, many other countries do this and it works very well.

Because people still remember the news footage of the Birmingham and Memphis PD using firehouses to brutalize the civil rights marchers, that’s why. Nobody wants to open themselves up to that comparison.
