Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz sparred with New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over several unanswered science questions.
The spat began Thursday when Ocasio-Cortez criticized President Donald Trump for putting Vice President Mike Pence in charge of the task force responding to Coronavirus.
Cruz responded by asking Ocasio-Cortez, As you are speaking as the oracle of science, tell us, what exactly is a Y chromosome?

Supposing two swallows carried it together.
As someone in Economics degree, I applaud your insight in many ways.
AOC: "That's a trick question. The atmosphere doesn't wear makeup!"
lol
The comment I would make would get me banned for centuries.
What was her competition? All the intelligent kids were in a charter school. Her classmates are teaching grade school, now, so that is a pretty low bar.
Ask her the difference between a virus and a bacteria. That will snare her
LOL!
MIT named a meteorite after her. Seriously. That’s it, nothing more. She so dumb, she thinks it’s some kind of academic achievement.
Having judged local and regional science fairs, I don’t find AOC’s alleged science fair success that hard to believe. I more than once had difficulty getting other male judges to give the top award to the project I considered the best . . . when the very cute girl’s project was also fairly good (but the cute girl couldn’t explain her project, not how she gathered the data or how she analyzed her results). A disappointing number of projects are done by parents without any involvement by the student, and many of those parents are real scientists.
How dare you question a unintelligent waitress women of diversity who spews sh## with no facts behind it
Theres GOT to be a sex video of her out there someplace. PLEASE release it...
It’s why Big Myke and Mychelle are a man?
Cruz should ask AOC a simple questions such as...
Why are human blood cells red? And why are plant cells green?
Let’s unpack this:
an Intel global finalist,
ISEF is for anyone in high school from anywhere in the world with a qualifying fair. Thus there are thousands of kids there and the whole competition is bigger. Its exclusively based on research (though publicity bias sometimes comes into play). Theres a lot more freedom, though that depends on your chaperone. ISEF is really what you make of it though. Trying to win is important, but so is making new friends and connections.
this is not the prestigious science fair.

this is an accomplishment? More of an embarrassment to be connected with him, sort of like being known as one of Epstein’s protégés.

It was an Intel International Science & Engineering Fair.
Her senior high school project research involved free radicals in antioxidants, which may have reduced degenerative illnesses induced by oxidative stress.
My impression is she is a good short study, able to memorize and speak to studies performed by others giving the appearance of her own derivation. In Texas, we used to call that fraud. Back east above the Mason-Dixon, they call that entrepreneurial genius.
I hold awards from MIT Lincoln Lab &others for accomplishments in microbiology
She received the award following a Papp smear.
She’s wearing glasses. She must be smart
Too bad the Daily Caller web site is so horrible to load and look at. It has to be the worst of all anywhere.
Other than that, it’s a pretty good site.
