Treatment has really advanced in lung cancer.
EXACTLY TRUE. One thing is for sure, Rush can afford any treatment he needs.
Folks talking about WHEN he will die should cease and desist.
I started listening to him back when I was in high school. He was my introduction to the wide world of conservative talk radio.

I'm a smoker and have recently had my second annual scan which came up negative......
I have 2 friends that have survived for years after a lung cancer diagnosis. I am optimistic.
We need to pray, and pray hard every day.
I have seen what stage 4 lung cancer does. First hand.
And I stand by what I said...if he does it make it to the election it will be because he goes through A MISERABLE existence of chemo and radiation.

He’s a bonified fighter and I believe he will assemble the finest medical team. Prayers for the fight of his life.

Deliver Rush from the infirmities that afflict his body
Obtain for him also a perfect resignation to the sufferings
it may please God to send, so that,
imitating our crucified Savior and His sorrowful Mother,
he may merit eternal glory in heaven.

Heavenly Father please heal your servant Rush Limbaugh. Prayers for his full recovery, his family, and all support medical staff, etc. Dear God in Jesus name, amen.

Everyone responds to and grieves for terrible news differently.
Unlike the poster to whom you responded, I suspect all of our domestic enemies are very happy right now.
I first heard Rush in 1989, about a year after his national debut. It was during my Air Force days; I was an intel briefer who went to work in the middle of the night (so the four-star could get his update at 8 am), but finished my shift at mid-day. Flipped on the local news/talk station on my way home, just after 12 noon eastern. And there he was; coming from a broadcasting background, I was instantly captivated and amazed. I had never heard anything like it, before or since, and his talent was extraordinary. Pulled my car over on the side of the road and spent the next hour listening, laughing and nodding my head. For once in my life, someone was articulating the positions and values I embraced.
Rush has been a constant in my life ever since. He saved AM radio, transformed American media and the conservative movement. Not bad for a former DJ from Cape Girardeau, MO.
