It is not exactly breaking news that Tulsi Gabbard will not win the Democratic presidential nomination. Since announcing her candidacy in January, the U.S. House member from Hawaii has never polled higher than 2 percent in the RealClearPolitics polling average.
That may not stop Gabbard from mounting a third-party White House bid and having a major impact on the 2020 election, and one person who is welcoming that prospect is President Trump.
I give her respect, Trump said of Gabbard during a Florida speech over the weekend at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit. She didnt vote the other day. I give her a lot of respect because she knew it was wrong. She took a pass.
Gabbard explained that her vote of present on the two articles of impeachment against Trump was meant to break the zero-sum game of political gridlock in Washington.

If she can’t even get above 2%, her trying a 3rd party stint is delusional.
Not if it takes votes away from Democrats.
Divide the Democrat vote!
Democrats are facing problems all of their own making. Sucks to be them.
This is all the DNC doing all it can to defeat her. They know she will not play their corrupt government game.
Media: “Burn the witch!”
What a media...
Rush Limbaughs stupid operation chaos stopped us from getting a good candidate because people thought they were being way too clever by registering as Dems for the primaries at his behest.
Lets not go down that dead-end road again.
Who were we getting in 2008? Newt? Rudy? Mittens? All the GOP money was on McLame, and there was nothing stopping it.
She seems to be the most reasonable candidate of that bunch, sort of this election’s Jim Webb. Doesn’t have a prayer.
We were always going to get McQueeg. It was his turn.
Better be careful that PDJT doesn’t ask her to be his VP...
He did stick with Amarooooosa and others that ‘WE’ all knew were probably disasters.
He has no problem sacking someone but the CEO/Contractor in him won’t let him ‘change his mind’ once he is convinced he is doing the ‘right thing’.
He then uses his ‘power’ to reverse himself but he seldom admits he originally made a ‘bad choice’.
May not have taken him long to prove himself wrong but ....
Problem is, we’ve a lot of fools on our side that will vote for her.
I always like to checkout the authors background.

I think she’d take votes from Trump
Me too: an alternative to Trump who isn’t crazy-socialist anti-American.
But I don’t think she’ll be running. This is just a media-DNC attack on her.

I agree.
My suspicion is shes setting herself up for 2024. If Trump drubs one of these other liberal lunatics, by establishing her centrist bonafides she will be in a strong position to lead a course correction of the democrats starting in 2021.
I think you could be right.
Not my vote — nobody’s taking my vote from Trump— but I think there are voters on our side who are “tired of all the drama’ and have been fooled into thinking Tulsi is a moderate or even conservative.
She’s not. She’s an articulate, smooth, white female Obama.
McTraitor had it locked by the time rush did OC. I remember the base was split in the primaries so he got in. He won the Presidental primaries the same way he and Flake kept getting in. The good candidates split the vote and the rats would cross over and put those two rinos in over and over. Its a trick the GOPe uses in many states to keep true conservatives out.
We were always going to get McQueeg. It was his turn.
Yes indeed. I remember it clearly.
