My suspicion is she’s setting herself up for 2024. If Trump drubs one of these other liberal lunatics, by establishing her centrist bonafides she will be in a strong position to lead a “course correction” of the democrats starting in 2021.
She’s already positioned herself as the neutral, moderate SANE pro-American candidate against the radical left. We already know she’s been discriminated against by Big Tech hiding search results and ads.
If she’s pushed out of the DNC primary, she can stand in 2020 and say “I was aiming for middle America, I could have beat Trump and won the election, but you all worked against me. Reject big tech, reject SJWs, and reorg under me to win.”
