ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. Days before the House is expected to vote on two articles of impeachment brought against President Donald Trump, Rep. Xochitl Torres Small, D-N.M., announced Sunday afternoon that she believes impeachment is the necessary response.
We cannot allow any President of either party to abuse the power of the highest office, jeopardizing our countrys national security in the process, to pressure foreign leaders to conduct investigations against political rivals, Torres Small, who represents the 2nd Congressional District, wrote in a statement. We also cannot allow any President to obstruct Congress power to investigate impeachable offenses by prohibiting White House and other administration officials from testifying or providing evidence. I must act to protect our national security, our Constitution, and the integrity of our elections.

Xocheitl is a former Tom Udall aide. She is as liberal as he is, just pretended to be moderate to get elected in that district. Her campaign ads promising to be non partisan and holding a shotgun the wrong way pretending to be bird hunting were laughable. But they were exactly what she is, a farce. She is a Udall Heinrich clone.
And yes, ballot harvesting is what put her across the finish line in that tight race. If you remember, right before the election the Dona Ana clerk was fired and a new clerk was put into office. Voter fraud will be rampant, especially since the last legislative session the majority voted. to register (to vote) everybody who gets a drivers’ license.
Im so happy these younger Democrat politicians are willing to sacrifice their futures to try and coverup the crimes of the old Democrat Party leaders.
Jump under that bus you younger Democrat leaders!
Those old Democrat thieves will really appreciate your sacrifice!
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
It’s So-cheetal”. Nickname is “Sochi”.
“Her first name is Xochitl and I, as a displaced New Englander who knows no Spanish, have absolutely no idea how to pronounce it.”
It’s not Spanish. It’s Aztec - meaning it’s from the Nahuatl language.
It is pronounced “zo-sheel”. The “t” is silent.
It means “flower” and some Aztec goddess had that name.
Its like a burp-sneeze-fart
Target Acquired
I'd concentrate on the "chit" part, as in,
Apparently someone paid her a "chit" to vote for Peach Mint, or threatened she'd be in a lot of "chit" if she didn't.
Just another self-proclaimed reprobate.
I'll take a shot at it: "Ex-Cheating-Losing-Congresscritter".
If it makes you feel any better, Xochitl is not a Spanish name. Its Nahuatl, the language of the Aztecs and Toltecs, native tribes of what is now modern day México.

So small Torres supports impeachment. So what? He’s a a filthy democrat isn’t he?
So-chill Dave... It’s an Aztec thing.
She was “shooting” a pre 1958 Browning A5 with a Poly Choke.
An evil semi-auto.
My husband is from New Mexico and is Hispanic. He is bilingual and says he does not know how to pronounce and has never seen the word.
My husband and I are thinking of retiring to New Mexico right in the middle of her district possibly in time to vote in 2020. Our vote won’t be for her. My husband has a large extended family. They are Trump supporters because they like there pay raises and want immigration stability.
I think its a C followed by three Anglo letters.
According to the internet Xochitl was a mistress of the Toltec Emperor Tecpancaltzin, bearing him a son. This is not a name from my husband’s hispanic heritage. Aztec.
