The American president just gifted 2.5 billion barrels of oil to long-time Syrian enemy Bashar Al-Assad and, by default, Iran and Russia.
As far as gifts go, it was both well-received and unexpected given the Deep State designs on Syria for years.
To recap: Last week, Trump ordered the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Syria, and then had them stand down and step aside while the Turkish military poured across the border into Northern Syria, taking down any Kurds that stood in their way.
After five days of bloodshed, Turkey agreed to a temporary ceasefire at the behest of the Russians. Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan then flew to Sochi to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, where the two agreed to a deal that benefits everyone except the U.S.

Trump “surrenders” oil in Syria to Syria.
Yep.
Opinion piece by a mindless moron.
While the US was there, they were letting the Kurds sell this oil as a benefit of helping defeat ISIS.
The Israelis took it fair and square in war, after having their farmers on tractors sniped by Syrian tanks for many years from the heights.
You got a problem with that?
I think the 150 billion number is the assets released back to Iran, not the pallets of cash.
That's why they're pissed!
Yeah, I do. Israeli excuses that were legitimate decades ago don't wash. By your standards Israel has no reason to weep when someone seizes part of Israel by force and incorporates it into their nation.
Either internationally recognized borders are respected or they're not.
Assad may not be a great guy, and Syria does need to be kept in check, but many of the supposed rebels that Obama showered money upon were actually AQ and later ISIS. Better a state you can control than a band of lunatics you cant.
The expression from the envirowackos is “No Blood for Oil”
Syrian oil is a drop in the bucket, pissing in the ocean.
Oil ,is this what Nancy and her Criminals wants ?
More correctly, oil for blood. If 2.5 barrels is the price to get our troops out of harm's way, I'm fine with it. Our petroleum situation is as good as ever. Our economy won't feel it. Sure beats sending billions to Iran along with our nuclear secrets.
All of us here knew about that oil, for a long time now.
The media, inlcuding Yahoo did not give a dam about it when a lot of it was in ISIS hands.
And if Obama or Trump had placed that oil as their reason for fighting ISIS the media would have jumped all over them.
NOW, suddenly, that oil was “ours” to “surrender”.
It’s like 2003 in reverse. Now it’s “they were against the war and now they are all for it”. In both cases it represents the Democrats and the media’s hypocrisy. When it comes to war and military activity their position is never principled, it’s where is the political advantage (in their view).
So what. We have TRILLIONS more, and are the largest producer of oil in the world. No thanks to Oblabla or ANY Demonrat.
Danm! You’re right. $150,000,000,000.00!!
Good response. A few more points:
1. Syria and Russia are fake enemies, framed with chemical warfare charges to cause problems for Trump.
2. The Syrians brought in Iran only to survive a rebellion that was supported by McCain and his allies in the USA. Now that they are no longer needed for this purpose, they will be resisted and gradually pushed back — with the help of Israel, and maybe also Russia.
3. Syria needs oil to rebuild, and it is theirs, not ours.
It appears that I left out a word and appeared to shoot the messenger. I apologize to Navy Patriot for blaming him for posting the trash in the article.
It also smells like Obama started long before he was anointed.
The Teapot Dome scandal!!!
