A second American civil war is nothing to look forward to

Similarly, today, it is surprising to hear with what composure, and how glibly, members of the public, and even politicians, talk of a second American civil war. Some conservatives assume that they, having more arms and more training and practice in using them, would quickly prevail over the soy-boy Left.

Proficiency with firearms will be no match for nuclear bombs, which Democrat Eric Swalwell has already suggested deploying domestically.

The Democrats are busy even now destroying the institutions of government, the institutions for the peaceful adjustment of differing interests. They are doing this through the Mueller witch hunt, bureaucratic and judicial sedition, and the illegitimate impeachment inquiry, and they are fomenting violence through their Antifa organization and their rhetoric.

When the Leftist Democrats regain Power, which they will at some point, the only thing to do is refuse to follow their Unconstitutional Edicts.

The Founders looked to the Courts, a coequal Branch of our Republican Government, to rein in the power hungry Politicians who have no respect for our Constitution or the Freedoms American Citizens enjoy.

That has apparently failed. Without Morality and an Allegiance to our Founding Principles by our Elected Representatives, our Republic cannot stand. It is as simple as that.

We will still be living in something called America, but not the America our Founding Fathers envisioned.

I fear that our position is more like the American Indians. When we broke treaties with the Indians in say, Minnesota, the Indians took it out on new settlers, who had no idea that some guys in St. Paul broke the treaty that got them their land. The Indians didn't even know who the guys in St. Paul WERE< much less how to defeat them.

Look at Communist China, and its social numbering system. We are starting to do the same thing with private agencies. Google, Facebook, Lexus/Nexus, Experian/Equifax/TransUnion all collaborating with government bodies to at first ruin your credit score, intercept tax returns, then withhold portions of direct deposited paychecks for new infractions and social crimes, and finally putting liens on houses and freezing/seizing bank accounts as evidence of crimes.

The rules made to catch real tax cheats, "deadbeat" dads and drug dealers will be used against us, and the Constitution will be no defense, except for the bad guys.

That's my scenario for a breakdown with no good opportunity for a response.

It is definitely not a forgone conclusion, but it is definitely a possible outcome.

Unlike 1860, you do not have a confederation of co-located states who have a specific focus for civil war or secession.

The hardcore factions are located in various cities and states that are not collocated which makes it difficult to disconnect as a coherent entity and to raise an army.

Much like 1860, we have a president whom the opposition fervently opposes, a national press that sides with the opposition, and many within the government and the president’s party who also oppose him.

The outcome would not be pretty, but the chances of the socialist democrats getting their way or having a very wide backing is pretty slim.

It’s certainly nothing to be hoped for, but we’d be fools to be caught unprepared. Nobody is going to be nuking anybody in this sort of war because there aren’t any targets. But if you thought the last three years have been an unremitting and increasingly violent temper tantrum on the Left think what is likely to happen when Trump gets re-elected. It isn’t going away.

My guess is that the military would support the side that is following the Constitution.

So let’s say that Congress impeaches, and then removes Trump. And they do so by following the method laid out in the Constitution. Yes, that would be a travesty. But it would also be perfectly legal. I would hope that the military would do nothing.

But now let’s suppose that Trump is arrested by the House Sergeant-at-Arms while he’s delivering the next State of the Union speech. In that case, I would hope that the military would act swiftly to set things right.

Russia, China, Iran, North Korea — in fact, nearly all of America's enemies would likely support the Left and the Democrats. A second American civil war might devolve into a conflict between American patriots and the entire rest of the world, perhaps excluding Israel. In a country like Britain, disputes over which side to support could lead to their own civil war. IF an American civil war goes hot, we need to have an effective 'kill list'... who to take out first, second and third. Killing our liberal neighbors is a waste of time. If it's war we 'take the radio stations' (metaphorically) That means our side kills white liberal elites running the MSM... take out their top spokespeople and whoever writes the daily talking points... They're willing to 'nuke us' - we have the right to fight back.

Of course there's no reason non to fight. We can negotiate TWO countries.

THE SOLUTION: Give them EVERYTHING they want. Split the country into two countries. ("CUS" -Conservative United States and "PUS" - Progressive United States... It's a win-win.

The progressive side can dump the SECOND AMENDMENT. They can confiscate all guns the first day of their new country's existence... PUS can have open borders - every third world hellhole can send them their sick, elderly and criminal... PUS will be able to arrest people who use plastic straws - - they can ban all fossil fuels. PUS can give reparations to anyone with skin darker than a deep tan - no proof of slave ancestor necessary... FOREVER. Minimum wage in the 'PUS *Progressive United States) can be $50.00 bucks an hour... AND there will be no foreign conflict so minor they won't send troops.

Our (CUS) ONLY request is they split the cost of building a wall between our two countries - because in a few short years their people will be trying to break into our country... and we don't want 'em.

The thing is, there’s a point where qualities like law-abidingness and family-orientedness may flip and become precisely the reason to fight.
