Reporters fawned Tuesday over 16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg's response to a sarcastic tweet from President Donald Trump.
"She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future," Trump tweeted after Thunberg warned the U.N. of a coming "mass extinction."

In response, Thunberg changed her Twitter bio Tuesday to read, "A very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future." The move delighted reporters, who declared the young woman had gotten the best of the president.
"Well played," CBS News reporter Weijia Jiang said in a tweet that was later retweeted by CNN's Jim Acosta.
New York Times reporter Astead W. Herndon, Yahoo News reporter Dylan Stableford, and MSNBC producer Michael Del Moro also weighed in.
Liberal outlets such as Vanity Fair and the Guardian likewise crowed "Greta Thunberg Is Officially Better At Twitter Than Trump" and "Greta Thunberg turns tables on Trump and quotes his mockery in new Twitter bio."
CNN's Chris Cillizza weighed in on air, saying :
"She changed her Twitter bio to ‘A very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future.' Which honestly is an A-plus troll of the president."

In case you haven’t noticed, Trump is a student on a par of his own, of Dale Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People.
Only when he’s attacked will he counter attack. In the other situations, he gives everyone the benefit of the doubt. He treats them all with respect.

So with one tweet, the president turns her around from being an angry, depressed, desperate, anxious activist to a happy person with hopes for the future! I know his tweets are powerful, but that is amazing!

She is clearly NOT happy and thinks the world has a short and dark future. Her response is not clever and makes no sense. The fact that the media thinks it’s brilliant shows they are incapable of a rational response to anything done by a member of their team.
