Secret FBI tapes that accuse Martin Luther King Jr of having extramarital affairs with '40 to 45 women' and even claim he 'looked on and laughed' as a pastor friend raped a parishioner, exist an author has claimed. The civil rights hero was also heard allegedly joking he was the founder of the 'International Association for the Advancement of P***y-Eaters'.
The shocking files could lead to a 'painful historical reckoning' for the man who is celebrated across the world for his campaign against racial injustice, according to one biographer. The FBI surveillance tapes detailing his indiscretions are being held in a vault at the U.S. National Archives and are not due for release until 2027. But David Garrow, a biographer of King who won a Pulitzer Prize for his 1987 book Bearing the Cross about the Baptist minister, has unearthed the FBI summaries of the various incidents.
In an article to be published in Standpoint, Garrow tells how the FBI planted transmitters in two lamps in hotel rooms booked by King in January 1964, according to The Sunday Times.

His national coronation *was* a scam.
The FBI and the rest of the alphabets were scared to death of Malcolm X and the power he was gaining. They wanted a Negro that they could lionize and control. They recorded his hotel room escapades to control him.
Honestly, I’d probably feel disgust towards Malcolm X, since he was openly Communist and tried to engineer a violent revolt. MLK is a flawed human being, so here’s one person who admits that bit.
It needed to be posted. Talk about sexual impropriety... Oh the hypocrisy! Kavanaugh couldn’t light a candle to this guy.
Exactly. The real scandal was that the FBI wiretapped MLK, Jr. without a warrant, then wrote him a suicide letter, and then we need to explore how dirt poor James Earl Ray broke out of prison, obtained multiple fake passports and a rifle while on the run, and then found and assassinated MLK, Jr.
Aleida is the black sheep of the King family. The rest are Dems and very pro abortion as was he. Google King and Sanger.

Good point.
Just as an FYI, Jefferson didn’t believe Jesus had resurrected or indeed was any different from, say, the Dalai Lama, and even denied a lot of supernatural elements, created the Jefferson Bible which utterly gutted the supernatural elements of God and Jesus, and I believe he sarcastically referred to the Triune God as a chimera if I’ve read him right. Yet we don’t denounce him and place him in very high regard as a man of freedom, and he undoubtedly was even WORSE than MLK in that regard (at least MLK had enough respect for the bible to not try and make a half-rate forgery in his name that outright gutted all supernatural aspects to God and Jesus, which Jefferson did).
If I had to choose MLK and Jefferson regarding who was ultimately a better follower of Christ, I’d stick with MLK. I would personally suggest you condemn Jefferson if you wish to be consistent.
Eh, to be fair, the BBC and the Guardian are also the UK press, and yet they’re about as credible as most of the US press right now (ie, not even close to credible).
Just as an FYI, Thomas Jefferson plagiarized from John Locke when drafting the Declaration of Independence, so by your logic, he also has terrible character (especially when he’s probably the only one of the founding fathers who cheerleaded the Jacobins even after witnessing their tawdry acts).
I agree, LBJ started the demise of the Black family unit. “ I’ll those N.....’s voting Democratic for the next 200 years.”
Johnson was a liar a cheat and a racist. He completely fabricated his military experience after being appointed a LCDR, because he was a congressman, in the Navy Reserve, went to the S. Pacific and participated in a flight that allegedly was shot up where the crew managed to get the A-26 Murader back to base and the only one decorated, with a Silver Star, was Johnson. There is conflicting evidence that the aircraft he was on was not attacked as well. This was to bolster his perceived political weakness on defense issues. He had himself awarded the medal several times.
His ballot box stuffing in Texas are legendary. All of this speaks to his baseline integrity and motivation. I would submit he didn’t give a wit about poverty or blacks or minorities other than for political expediency...i.e. votes. He guessed right on loosing the South, and he was completely right on Black voters. Democrats get 90-95% of the black vote. Great Society legislation cost some $22 trillion and has not had an effect on poverty rates and arguably has fostered the breakdown of black families as evidenced by large percentages of single parent black families...60-70%. would have been better off making direct payments to the intended beneficiaries.
... He only got on to the ballot because he threated a floor fight at the convention in 1960, Kennedy wanted Stevenson as running mate. How many times did Johnson meet with Kennedy after the election? Likely not much. Kennedy went to Dallas in 63 to shore up Texas, which should not have been an issue as it was Johnson’s state. [But then again, Al Gore lost Tennessee in 2000.]

And Hillary Clinton lost Arkansas by a 2:1 margin in 2016. LOL. -the former First Lady of Lil Rock, down the tubes. They hate her.
Glad you saw it.
“BTW, are there any white student unions yet?”
What do college campuses, filled with indoctrinated kids who have never experienced life, have to do with the real world?
But remember, in the 50s, a LOT of colleges were white only. No blacks allowed. With no blacks, in the 50s, lots of student unions were 100% white.
“James Meredith, an African American man, attempted to enroll at the all-white University of Mississippi in 1962. Chaos soon broke out on the Ole Miss campus, with riots ending in two dead, hundreds wounded and many others arrested, after the Kennedy administration called out some 31,000 National Guardsmen and other federal forces to enforce order.”

Maybe you want a return to those days. I do not.
“Thomas Jefferson plagiarized from John Locke...”
No, Locke’s writings were out there in the public domain, and had a tremendous influence on the Founding Fathers and Jefferson never tried to lead anyone to think he originated it all. It is like today someone quoting the Bible. Only thing, Jefferson should have copied more faithfully, as Locke had it life, liberty, and the pursuit of property.
Also, the context of the thread was about King’s sexual immorality, which was many degrees worse than mere plagiarizing. And, by the way, all that info about King’s carrying on has long been out there even before his assassination. That is what alerted Hoover to document it.
[And Hillary Clinton lost Arkansas by a 2:1 margin in 2016]
Now that’s some funny stuff right there. Glad to hear it.
I’ve heard the claims that he’s a communist, but I really don’t buy those claims, certainly not that he remained one up to his death, for a couple of reasons:
1. His essay “Can a Christian be a Communist” makes it very clear that Christianity and Communism can never, EVER be mixed together, and in fact they are anathma to one another. That alone makes his being a Communist unlikely, even a secret one. Not even Communists who pose as Christians such as Pope Francis could do something like that, as that would betray the Communists.
2. He’s a personal friend of Richard Nixon, and bear in mind, Nixon alongside Hoover was instrumental in taking down Alger Hiss and proving his ties to the Communists (remember, this was back before Nixon, under Kissinger’s rather asinine advice, backed détente and supported Mao Zedong’s China). That makes it even LESS likely he was a Communist. Heck, in some ways, it was thanks to Nixon that MLK’s Civil Rights crusade got any traction. So unless you want to denounce Richard Nixon as a secret communist as well, I suggest you consider dropping it.
3. Even IF MLK was a Communist initially, there’s little indication he was still a Communist by the time of his death. Let’s not forget that Whittaker Chambers also was a communist, as was Ron Radosh and David Horowitz, yet they gave up on Communism and even have gone out of their way to condemn it.
It’s still plagiarism since he largely copied John Locke’s stuff. Richard Henry Lee even accused Jefferson of plagiarism at one point, if Mises is to be believed: https://mises.org/library/real-jefferson
As far as sexual immorality, I agree, that’s a very bad mark on MLK, not denying such was the case. However, I also must remind you that even Donald Trump has done sexual immorality as well, yet he was STILL the better candidate compared to Hillary Clinton, or especially her husband Bill Clinton. And let’s not forget Eisenhower, who is reputed to have cheated on his wife, and he’s considered one of our better presidents.
Nice to see vindication. Thanks.
King is black, so he automatically is given a pass on any sort of bad behavior. Even if the tapes are released and played on air, we will see hundreds of people on CNN, MSNBC, FOX and all the rest coming to his defense, and saying that his private behavior has nothing to do with the “great and wonderful” things he advocated for.
