In response to Alaska Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski voting *not* to advance the supreme court nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, Sarah Palin sends the following tweet: Hey @Lisa Murkowski I can see 2022 from my house.
___________
Do it, Sarah. Long term CTH readers will well remember how Tea Party candidate Joe Miller was backed by Sarah Palin when he stunningly defeated Lisa Murkowski during the republican primary in 2010. However, Murkowski would not accept the primary defeat and the entitlement-minded incumbent ran as a write-in candidate, and enlisted the assistance of democrats in Alaska to retain her seat in the general election.
The Tea Party was furious at the level of elitist refusal to accept the primary defeat in 2010, and Senator Murkowski has been a thorn in the side of conservatives ever since.
In a further slap to the face for the base of the movement, when Murkowski returned to the Senate as a successful write-in candidate, the 2011 professional republican apparatus, the Decepticons, never held her accountable for her insufferable self-interest. Instead the GOPe, through then minority leader Mitch McConnell, allowed Murkowski to return to the same committee positions she held before rebuking the will of the republican electorate.
Murkowskis vote today to block advancing nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh is yet another exhibition of her ideological self-interest.

Regardless, I think she could win. Wish we could hear the buzz around town. Murkowski might get the message. Present is the same as a no vote.
I want to do something that will influence our culture, she said. To really remind people how important a work ethic is and to try to erase a lot of this idea that people have that government owes them anything. Or that anybody owes them anything.
Palin said she still wants to be in some positions here to get that message out there, how important it is to be independent, get out there and work for yourself.
________
Yes, I read that a couple of weeks ago. I don't believe she would ever drop her Alaska residency.
I don't know how that election law works, but I sure think she'd leave open this opportunity to run.
I sure hope so! I love that girl.

Now is the time Sarah, if ever we want to see more heads explode its now, DO IT!
___________
Post # 7 gives you something on that, and I responded in # 22.
__________
LOL. I don't think she could ever live in that climate. That girl is a great cold weather lady. (jmo)
____________
You sure have big things to worry about, don't you? Are you bugged by your grass growing? Does the occasional cobweb bother?
Also .... that is the correct title. We here at FR are instructed to use the correct title when posting.
Go look for a cobweb.
Winning ............

Yes, it's in the article. Did you read it?
Winter comes early and stays a long time up in the Arizona mountains.
The whole Murkowski elitist crowd are dirty as can be: her initial appointment by her father and her three re-elections by a plurality within the state.
Sarah won election as the governor back when but not sure she could ever win as a Senate candidate? But she is still a force to be reckoned with and the Republicans will have three plus years to plan their strategy and unseat this horrible excuse for a senator.
Yes, I’m one of the few who do.
I assume, after reading comments, that most don’t.
A quote long ago attributed to the police chief of Anaktuvuk Pass, now just an outpost of North Slope Borough Public Safety-
The types of folks that come to Alaska are for the most part
Mercenaries, Missionaries and Misfits.
That is a nice jab to the ribs...
I doubt she intends to run, but take the shot to the ribs while it’s open. Follow with a cross to the head and you’ve got the makings of a knockout.
Murkowski is another dopey broad and unworthy of any respect.
Exactly, my first thoughts when Murkowski said no. Go Palin!
Mercenaries, Missionaries, Misfits, and Military.
That’s how I got there, the fourth M.
Yes!
Palin for Senate!
‘She needs to do something...’
You mean like campaign hard for Trump in 2016?
Murk needs to come to her senses, TODAY.
Ronald Reagan spent a good while thinking things over. I see no problem with Palin doing the same thing.
In fact, there’s a heck of a lot more information to sift through now than back in the 70s.
Palin has also learned a lot about campaigning and the media as well. She has helped a great many candidates. She has built a network of lifelong friendships.
