WEST HAVEN, Utah -- When Natalie Richards sixth-grade daughter told her she couldnt say no if a boy asked her to dance at Kanesville Elementarys Valentines Day dance, she didnt believe it at first.
Oh no, no honey," Richard said of her reply. "You guys are misunderstanding again. Thats not how it is."
However, after speaking to her daughters teacher, she realized the statement was accurate.

I agree completely. A dance is 3-4 minutes and at that age, there should be a volleyball to basketball diameter between the chests of the dancer.
There is no good reason to not be polite and do one dance with someone one time.
I started dancing in 2001 after my ex-wife divorces me. It did tremendous things foe my emotional health, especially since my ex was not an affectionate woman.
There were many excellent women dancers who asked me to dance when I knew almost nothing about dancing. I got to be an excellent social dancer in very short order. Not saying I was addicted to dancing, but I once went dancing 21 nights in a row.
I attended a lot of Christian singles dances over quite a few years and always made it a point to ask women, even the fat ones, who were there for the first time to dance and offer encouragement.
Proper dance etiquette requires that you sit out the rest of a dance if you turn someone down. If you need to sit one out because you need a rest, the most polite thing to say is that you need a rest, but would be happy to do the next dance with them.
Saying yes to a dance request is just a response to someone who might need some affirmation. It could change their life knowing someone accepted them even in such a small way.
you get what you pay for (which is nothing)..
Excuse me but I just got my property tax bill and it totals several thousands of dollars, 60% of which goes to schools.

Nothing like the 'collective' 3rd world drumbeat...
Don’t fall for it, you’re not ‘paying’ for the schools, the money is being seized from you and spent any way they please. Big difference.
Now, if you were actually ‘paying’ for it, you would be able to take your money elsewhere, or not even pay if you didn’t need the service.
That sounds wonderful. Lucky kids. Wise parents.
She Probably wonders to this day why he never called her back...
My dad tells a story about when he asked for my mom’s number. She told him the number and he asked her to write it down. She told him if he couldn’t remember it he shouldn’t bother to call.
Ah, but do you know the area code??
I still have mine from high school.
YES! Though how they avoid having someone picked last I can’t imagine.
Just wait until you cant turn down a same-sex person asking you to dance.
A boy ran up to me today to tell me he is in love with my daughter.
They are five.
Darn my dysplasia. It mixes up my letters and numbers.
Tell him he’ll have to work seven years in your service for her.

I have heard white girls say they were pressured to accept dates from blacks and arab men. To say no is “racism” and you’ll be scarred for life if it gets around school that you’re racist.
Then, on the date, the males pressure the girls for sex and, again, if it’s a black or an arab, it is just racism to say no.
See how this works? And you wonder why there are so many mullato babies showing up in the schools and malls.
Excellent summary. Thank you.
This is a kind thing to do.
Got-ta Dance, Got-ta Dance; GOT-—TA——DANCE!!!!
