California Attorney General Xavier Becerra (D) says his office “will prosecute” employers who cooperate with federal immigration officials to deport criminal illegal aliens from the United States.
In a press conference on Thursday, the pro-open borders attorney general warned California employers of new state laws that barred businesses from providing information on illegal aliens to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency that would aid in deportations.
Becerra said, according to NTK Network:
There are new laws in place in California now in 2018 with the advent of 2018. I mentioned two of them specifically, AB 450 and SB 54. AB 450 in particular deals with the workplace in particular and how we go about treating the information about the workplace and employees at the workplace by employers. What we’re trying to make sure is that employers are aware that in 2018, there is a new law in place.
We will prosecute those who violate [California] law.

The last time the Democrats tried something like this, Eisenhower sent in the 101st Airborne.
In 1851 New Hampshire, Ohio, and Massachussets passed Personal Liberty Laws which forbade any in those states from cooperating with the Fugitive Slave Law of 1850. The laws provided twice the punishment specified for not cooperating with the Fugitive Slave Act. These laws have been treated historically, as anything but seditious. I would expect California pols to cite these laws in defense of their current policy. Dred Scott rendered these laws moot by denying free man status to any escaped slave. I would expect the Trump DoJ will take this to SCOTUS.

If CA loses the illegals, their comprehensive auto insurance rates would drop 15-20%.
Prosecute Becerra for sedition and treason.
And the feds will prosecute anyone who attempts to prosecute employers following the law.

The FBI can arrest anyone who “obstructs” them from arresting a “wanted” criminal suspect or known criminal alien.
Federal law TRUMPS state law and if DOJ plays it right, they can arrest the Marxist Cal. AG Becerra on the grounds of obstructing a federal investigation/arrest.

The CA law is not only unconstitutional it is also unenforceable. By my reading of the plain language of Sect 3 of the 14th anyone trying to enforce it just cancelled their personal claim to jurisdiction, their current job and any chances at any future government job; absent forgiveness from 2/3 of Congress. That includes any leftie judges, Federal or State, who try to defend them. Not to mention Pelosi, Schumer, etc. who have been so busy trying to stretch the removal options of the 25th they’d forgotten those of the 14th.. But it would be really nice if McCain would ‘volunteer’ to go first and if Trump could convince Gov. Ducey to appoint Sheriff Joe in his still living, abdicated place! Maybe if McCain is too far gone to go that way Flake or Linda would substitute himself. Might Nikki’s replacement choose better than Ducey?
So....Eisenhower was wrong to protect the rights of American citizens? And Trump would also be wrong to protect American citizens?
