Coulter didn't just slam Delta for moving her from her "PRE-BOOKED seat" with extra leg room. She documented the experience in photos and tweet after tweet, which she shared with her 1.6 million followers, not to mention the wider spectrum of people fascinated by things Ann Coulter does.
So here is a member of the flight crew accused of "summarily snatching my ticket from my hand & ordering me to move w/o explanation, compensation or apology:"
"Why are you taking me out of the extra room seat I specifically booked, @Delta?' Flight attendant: "I don't know.

I know, right?? So much better to send traffic to an anti-Republican/Conservative website and let them earn money per click.
Just wondering...
What if the skin colors were reversed? The airlines moving a pre-booked paid seat of a woman of color for Ann, a fair skinned woman.
Oh, there would be howling of racism!
I find this very strange.
I have flown nearly 3 million miles and have never been removed from an assigned seat.
And if I had a booked seat and I was asked to move I would ask “why” and then not move until that was answered or until they sent security to move me, who I would peaceably accompany.
This doesn’t make sense at all.
As long as you're guessing, do you have any guesses as to how she got Delta to move her seat? Jedi mind trick?
Why the big deal about moving to another seat?
You would be in jail if you did not comply. These people in charge are not adults, and have had bad PR lately and still do not get how bad they look.
So it's better to rip it off and try to profit from the theft?
>>You would be in jail if you did not comply. These people in charge are not adults, and have had bad PR lately and still do not get how bad they look.<<
I know what you mean, but I am sure I could be pretty insistent about getting a reason before deplaning.
I still think something doesn’t make sense here. We are missing a piece.
This seems to be a none issue to me. if she was setting alone and a family wants to set together I don’t see how this is a problem. Maybe Delta could have asked her if he would move for the girl
Well, let's look at the facst for you one more time, shall we?
She hooked and paid extra for - an extra room seat - for her very long legs - she's a tall lady.
They said 'move', she simply asked "Why?"
They refused to answer.
So maybw she was upset anout being switched to a seat where her knees wold b e around her ears.
AND, I'll just bet, were YOU in that situation, you'd demand an answer and a refund.
Because when you are very tall and very long legged you need that extra space she paid for. Dan Quayle had a blood clot in his lung which started in his leg and moved up to the lung, and could have caused his death. Doctors attribute this serious condition to confinement in cramped space on airlines. This is deadly serious.
Guessing you do not fly much, there is a world of difference between seat spacing and if you are taller or for whatever reason you wan that seat. They charge extra for roomier rows and they should never move you to just another seat
I have flown extensively and know of whence I speak and have or have had frequent flier miles on most carriers
So unless you are jealous of her or just ignorant I suggest you do some research before you start typing
Coulter can be a jerk at times. However she paid for the seat, it was confirmed and booked. Delta did not give her what she paid for and offered no explanation.
I would think suitable penance for Delta would be to fly her first class from now on at the price of an economy seat with extra leg room.
I well remember back in the sixties and early seventies when Delta was the finest airline in the United States. That has sadly changed. Delta should get down on their knees and pray every night to American Airlines. Otherwise they would be at the bottom of customer service and civility.
Delta Airlines started in Monroe, Louisiana as Delta Crop Dusting Service. They flew out of a grass strip in their crop duster days. They then went into local commercial airline service and then became the Delta of today. They were an absolute great airline.
I do not do if they do it anymore but in the 70s Delta would fly all the heads of the corporation to Monroe to open their first board meeting of the year. They held the board meeting in one of the local banks. The whole purpose of this was to remind them of their humble beginnings as just a crop duster service in North Louisiana. I think Delta has lost their heritage and this is very sad.
During the economic crunch on airlines in the 80s the loyalty of Delta employees was incredible. The employees voluntarily kicked in part of their salary to buy Delta a new aircraft. The airline and employees were a great team together. That most sadly is gone.
Southwest Airlines has picked up this type of loyalty and are kicking ass. I remember some many years ago something was amiss at the check in counter with Southwest. I saw a captain hustling bags for check in. That my friend is loyalty.
In fact, there’s no reason for her to justify purchase of that seat.
Ann Coulter was identified by a leftist who proceeded to screw her over because it was within her power to do so. Easy explanation here.
I fly Delta routinely. 9 flights in 18 months. Never had this type of problem. I missed a connecting flight, they directed me to a courtesy phone and got rebooked on the next flight (showed up on my smartphone as we talked). No extra charge since we departed late from my originating airport.
Love their app. I get text messages confirming my luggage is on board my flight, get directions through airports to connecting flights.
I fly coach, and the only exception is if I cannot get an aisle seat I will buy two seats (still cheaper than first class) so some lardass doesn’t push me out the window.
First of all people do not set, they sit, second she needs the leg room. If you are Mickey Rooney or me you do not need the leg room, she does, and I don’t get how dense people are being throwing your rights away so you can accommodate a young girl.
She paid for the seat with the **extra-cost** feature of additional legroom. Yes, actual legroom on an airplane actually is an extra cost option these days.
She was moved from that seat to another without it. They are not offering an explanation or reimbursement for the now-missing feature. It’s bait and switch at the very least.
If the family wanted to sit together, they should either have paid for the seat at the time of booking or at the very least asked Ms. Coulter to move and explained the situation.
If you ordered and paid for a pepperoni and sausage pizza online and received a crust with sauce and cheese but no toppings, would you just suck it up and eat it? Or would you demand a partial refund for the parts of the pizza that weren’t delivered as a minimum?
Amen......
