Mayor Andy Ginther countered President Donald Trump's executive order with one of his own.
The mayor said Columbus will be a welcoming place for immigrants and refugees and city resources won't be used to enforce immigration laws.
The executive order comes just days after Trump banned immigrants from seven majority-Muslim nations. That ban led to large protests over the weekend at John Glenn International Airport.
About 50 protesters demonstrated outside City Hall Monday evening calling on Columbus to designate itself a "sanctuary city". Ginther's executive order stops short of that but the protesters said they supported the steps he took.

I think Sessions is going to be very busy. These mayors need to be jailed and removed from office for openly breaking the laws of this country.
It doesn’t seem they’re capable of just calming down and dealing with the reality of a Trump presidency. It’s not even as if they’re going to regroup and come up with a rational platform in order to make their party viable once again, not if the DNC is STILL keeping racist radicals at the helm. They’re full of hatred and rebellion. They make threats of protesting the whole 4 years. And it seems there is nothing we can say to help them understand what was once common sense.
Add in Cleveland. Also, look at Kasick and Portman. It’s astounding. The ‘pubs in OH don’t even pretend to represent those who voted for them when it matters. They’re totally bought and paid for by Cheap Labor and Corporate Greed.

How is rebellion defined?
Being a central Ohio native, I have seen a once great conservative city morph into a crime ridden liberal haven. Two areas of the downtown, German Village (nicknamed gerbil village) and the arena district are designated LGBTQ strongholds. There are other areas close to OSU which are almost all Somalis. The remaining areas are filthy. Yessir Bob, the reign of black Mayor Coleman for over fifteen years has destroyed the city.

This is an issue that the liberals and subversives have intentionally muddied.
Since states, cities, universities, etc. do not have the authority to create their own immigration laws, the immigration laws derived from the authority found in the Constitution are the supreme law of the land.
