A "shameful" abstention by the U.S. in a United Nations Security Council vote Friday allowed passage of a resolution condemning Israeli settlement expansion in the occupied West Bank.
The resolution was put forward by New Zealand, Malaysia, Venezuela and Senegal after Egypt withdrew it Thursday under pressure from Israel and U.S. President-elect Donald Trump.
It was adopted with 14 votes in favor, to a round of applause, after U.S. Ambassador Samantha Power abstained. It is the first resolution the Security Council has adopted on Israel and the Palestinians in nearly eight years.
Reaction from U.S. Republicans and Jewish leaders around the world was swift and sharp.
"This is absolutely shameful," said House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis. "Today's vote is a blow to peace that sets a dangerous precedent for further diplomatic efforts to isolate and demonize Israel."
The Obama White House, under heavy pressure from the Israeli government and its supporters to veto the resolution, kept everyone guessing until the vote whether it would stop shielding Israel from council resolutions and permit it to pass by abstaining.

No! Obama is not a Christian by any means. He is just a Atheistic, Immoral, Socialist Community Organizer (read Communist Agitator). He was steeped in the mother’s milk of Communism and Socialism from birth.
He attended what some call a church, but was just a building that houses a group that follow Liberation Theology, does not trust the shed blood of Yeshua as a sacrifice for sin, and certainly does not believe God when he says, “I will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel.”
His god is Socialism. If Obama believes any type of theology it is in Replacement Theology. Sorry but all those groups out there who believe that the Jews have been deserted forever by G_d haven’t read His Word, where G_d specifically states he will restore Israel and bless them eternally.
Obama is guilty of practicing Taqiyya. He is permitted to lie about his faith, in order to support Islam. How better than to become the President of the United States where he can act to destroy the Constitution and and our Republic, and bring down what he considers to be the enemy of Islam. That’s the reason that many Muslims support him. They see him as a brother and fellow Muslim who is doing the will of their god.
Is he Muslim or is he Socialist. I feel that he is both, and really showing his true colors, as the worst President we have ever had in office.
Note: Jimmy Carter showed his real colors, as a Replacement Theology follower, after leaving office, and becoming a spokesman for terrorist in the Middle East. Don’t doubt that Obama will do him one better.

At that point the Arab League attacked and Tran-Jordan occupied what is call The West Bank. They were occupiers of what was intended to be part of the Jewish National Homeland. Trans-Jordan then renamed themselves “Jordan”, because Tran-Jordan meant across the Jordan Rive not both sides.
Since 1922 there has been two states, and from 1948 until 1967, Jordan illegally occupied part of the second state (The West Bank). They now no longer claim it, and support the creation of a third state.
So, not problem with a two state solution, as long as all areas of the Palestinian Mandate not split off to create Tran-Jordan belong to Israel.This would be the historical area of Israel including Judah and Samaria, which have historically been Israeli territories.
Jewish descendants of Israel have lived in Jerusalem and the area surrounding the city for over three thousand years. Jerusalem is, and has for three thousand years been Jerusalem DC (David's Capital). The Muslim World at heart, believes that Israel has no right to exist, because once conquer an area is always considered Muslim from that point on. In their minds Spain, part of France, Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, parts of Romania belong to Islam (their World of Peace). All other areas of the world are up for grabs.

My folks are friends with a couple from church that voted for Obama and then helped the campaign for Hillary. As they are obviously politically savvy I’m assuming they know what these two stand/stood for and in this I wonder how they can possibly call themselves Christians if they back that. Though I can’t say it surprises me cause the first time I met the woman, and one subsequent time after, she was rude to me for absolutely no reason. Haughty woman. Decided she didn’t like me right after being introduced. Makes me wonder if she got vibes I’d be one to see right through her.
Obama will now forever known as “backstabber” Obama among many other names including Barack “kill the Jews” Obama.

What’s done is done. Trump can’t retroactively veto this. They deliberately timed it for right before O’s exit. Maybe he can veto a vote for sanctions.
