In recent years, Republicans have made inroads into the overwhelmingly Democratic constituency of American Jews. But this year, Republican Jews — or Jewish donors to the Republican party, at least — are abandoning their party’s nominee at a stunningly high rate.
In 2012, 71 percent of the $160 million that Jewish donors gave to the two major-party nominees went to President Obama’s re-election campaign; 29 percent went to Mitt Romney’s campaign, according to our analysis of campaign contributors, which used a predictive model to estimate which donors are Jewish based on their names and other characteristics. This ratio of support mirrors how Jewish voters cast their ballots in 2012.
So far in 2016, of all the money given to major-party candidates by donors who appear to be Jewish, 95 percent has gone to Hillary Clinton and just 5 percent has gone to Donald Trump.

Great people with great, generous hearts but their agenda (which we have to assume by their donations) is horrifying.
I’ve told this before but my mom’s friend Ruthy, her husband took care of ALL of our teeth, five of us for years because pop was sick and we were dirt poor then!!
I knew as I got older that he was very liberal. Why? With a thriving and successful business, would he want to give a portion to those who do nothing. And he MUST have known he would make nothing if it was up to dems. This is 40 years ago, but these same principles still applied. How could since a kind man be so blind?
How can there be two groups of six million people who share the same religion yet are SO different in so many ways? I’m not counting Jews who live in myriad other countries. Israel and American Jews I am talking about.

The HORRIFYING part is they’re one of the first to go in socialist or communist countries. And their money wont help them. It didn’t do any good in Germany except perhaps to have enough to get out.

I just posted about a liberal communist Jewish guy I used to work with. At a different place of of employment, I worked with an orthodox Jew women that was from Israel. I told her how I wanted to visit Israel, etc. She went back for some family function and brought back the best gift ever for me, some sand from outside King Solomon mines! I still have it after all these years in a beautiful vase I bought for it.
Yes, I’ve seen those spending figures, but I was wondering if you have seen any ads on TV where you are located? I don’t really have a concept of how the money spent translates into actual number of TV ads. I have see many Trump ads on the internet, but none on TV. Again, being in CA, I really don’t expect to see any.
In recent history (the last generation or two), liberal and moderate Jews’ main (stated) objection to the Republican party is that it’s turned too socially conservative, too “Christian” for them.
The strange thing about their aversion to Trump is that he does NOT fit that profile — he’s quite moderate on abortion and LGBTQWXYZ nonsense. And he keeps his faith very private. And his tax plan kicks azz for all taxpayers, across the board. And he seems to be pro-Israel and to have rational, realistic views about the Mid East.
So all that being the case, why their hostility to Trump? I’ve been trying to get to the bottom of it by questioning relatives and old friends and acquaintances, but haven’t received any satisfactory answers.
When I bring up Trump’s positions on the issues I listed above, they grudgingly concede the points and then mumble BS about him being tactless jerk and a loose cannon and uneducated about the issues and various idiotic PC pejoratives with “phobic” suffixes. Temperament and personality issues, mostly. Not so much policy. Many (but not all) even have no problem with the border wall or Muzzie immigration restrictions.
Bottom line: it’s still a conundrum. But relentless MSM brainwashing plays a big role, as do longstanding voting habits. They’re hard to break.
Some jews are filthy globalist traitors ! We must face it !

Over the past two weeks they’ve started playing on TV here in Central Massachusetts...I’m seeing a few every day now.
As a fellow Christian, I do wear it occasionally as I am proud to be a little part Hebrew.
If I can be forgiven for inserting prophecy in here, returning to the Torah will not happen on any large scale until the Tribulation. That is in fact the reason for the Tribulation.
This may be just wishful thinking on their part.
It’s sad. I’m Jewish and conservative and understand what Trump is doing for us. Something I have prayed for.
My daughter goes to a new preschool in a synagogue and I am sure if I mentioned Around the school that I was for Trump it would be like saying I drink owl blood for breakfast. My extended family know I am conservative barely tolerate me.
I don’t know why many Jews don’t like Trump. He seems so NY Jewish in a way because he grew up among them. I hear the dumbest things that semi-intelligent people shouldn’t fall for, that he is a buffoon, a racist. He is not.

Even Israel, which admire GREATLY as a country, has lost its way a little, with legal abortions and the first DWTS all female couple some years back.
But they’re light years ahead of American Jews, and heck, half of America, in holding to their religion and defending their values.
If one studies the Democrat party since the American Civil War, the fingerprints of Marxism are extremely evident. Why the attraction for Jews? I don’the understand.
