A group of students and parents from Minnesota filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the federal government and their school district for allowing a transgender student who was born male but identifies as female into the girls locker rooms, showers, and restrooms.
The lawsuit is the latest in a series of challenges to the Obama administrations bathroom mandate issued in May that requires public schools and universities nationwide to give transgender students full access to school facilities based on their gender identity instead of their biological sex. Schools that do not comply with the administrations guidance could face legal action or loss of federal funding.
The lawsuit was filed by the conservative nonprofit Alliance Defending Freedom representing concerned parents and students who formed a group called Privacy Matters. The group is suing over Minnesotas Virginia Public Schools policy for transgender students, arguing that the current policy is an invasion of personal privacy.
According to the complaint, a transgender student in Duluth, Minnesota, was allowed to enter the girls locker room and would dance in a sexually explicit mannertwerking, grinding, and dancing like he was on a stripper pole to songs with explicit lyrics, including Milkshake by Kelis.
On another occasion, the complaint noted, a female student saw the male student lift his dress to reveal his underwear while grinding to the music.
School policies should promote the rights and safety of every student, but thats not what Virginia Public Schools is doingand its certainly not what the departments of Education and Justice are doing, said Gary McCaleb, a lawyer with Alliance Defending Freedom.

Just what teenage girls always wanted: some hairy teenage dude in a dress twerkin’ in their locker room.
PING!
The better solution to this is to vote Trump!
These suits need to be made against individual politiians, not government.
The next generation of Minnesotans may be much more conservative than their grandparents because they have to put up with these crazy Liberal ideas that they know are wrong.
This makes no sense. This part of Minnesota is the heart of Liberal Lakes.
They should be celebrating O’bozo’s mandate.
Just what we need, tranny weirdos haunting the bathrooms that our wives and daughters use. Something needs to be done, it’s only a matter of time before a lot of street-justice starts happening to them—not that I’m advocating that.
...... Bout time Someone did something .... The trick to stopping the government from steam rolling over our freedom and rights ..... Is to do something about it .... Even if it has to be a legal action against those that are forcing immoral things down our collective throats!!!!
.... Fight Back!
What law schools did Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys get indoctrinated at?
They should be arguing that the only sex-related issue that the states have amended the Constitution to expressly protect is voting rights as evidenced by the 19th Amendment (19A).
And 19A expressly gives Congress the power to strengthen sex protections only in the context of voting rights.
Corrections, insights welcome.
You know he will leave the seat up. That is a male!!!
More like Obama’s Bathroom Foot Tapping Mandate
Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
You are 100% right:
Amendment XIX.
1 The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.
2 Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
The question is, what are you going to do about it?
trumps first statement after all this began was, let anyone use the bathroom they want. whats the big deal
This from Al ‘Baby Boy’ Franken’s Minnesota? Really? Maybe there’s hope yet...
Obama’s bathroom mandate is just another tool to tear down our nation.
Then kick the snot out of him again. Until he gets the message.
Only Congress can make laws, and they cannot delegate. We The Sheeple seem to abdicated.
Minnesota seems to be on the wrong side of so many issues, but they got this one right.
The President can’t issue orders to citizens.
