I was plenty ready to boo Cruz, when he said something I didn’t agree with.... Or failed, as he did, to endorse Trump at the end. That was stupid... And, it’s something I won’t forget.
But, people here were ragging on him when he was saying things Ronald Reagan would have been saying.
I am a Conservative, I applaud people who champion conservative ideas.... Right up until, they don’t.
Those subversives on CNN (who have apparently suddenly become staunch neo-conservatives) keep freaking out about Trump’s NYT foreign policy interview. Before that they were fixating on Lyin’ Ted’s back-stabbing. They’ve said almost nothing of Mike Pence’s brilliant speech or the wonderful testimonials about Trump tonight. It’s disgusting that these people claim to be journalists.
I also donated to the Trump Children. I just love the Trump family. I am planning to donate to Freerepublic tomorrow night in honor of Trump/Pence. Without FR we wouldn't have our Trump Family... That would be a shame!!
Cruz proved that he’s one of the republican party’s biggest a$$holes. It’s interesting to note that Trump says he had seen Cruz’ speech two hours before it was given, and let him go on anyway. That says a lot of good things about Trump himself. He’s not afraid of criticism, and he’s definitely not afraid of Cruz. I hope that Trump remembers Cruz in 2018, and helps finance a primary challenger.

Cruz is trying to get Hillary elected. That means he most certainly does not champion conservatives ideas and is willing to toss the country away for what he thinks will be his own benefit.
Giving his people encouragement to vote for Republicans down ticket, but not for Trump, only helps Hillary. Giving Hillary excellent fodder to attack Trump with, only helps Hillary. Cruz is batting for the opposite team and has been since Indiana. It doesn’t matter what he says; it matters what he does. He is fighting for a left-wing Supreme Court; he is fighting for open borders; he is fighting for a lax attitude against terrorists; he is fight for more business crippling regulations, etc., etc. Ted Cruz is the enemy.

Yet right now the nevertrumpers are more wet about Ted Cruz than ever. They skim right over him breaking his word and believe he is leading the way for 2020. I have no earthly idea where they think his votes are coming from. Not one of the 14 million Trump voters will ever vote for Cruz.
