Family Sues TSA for Beating Their Deaf, Blind and Brain Damaged Teen Daughter Bloody at Airport
Daily Sheeple ^ | 7/1/2016 | Melissa Dykes

Yet another example of an innocent American attempting to travel by plane in the U.S. (Pic: WREG)

It seems people aren’t just suing the TSA for missing their flights these days.

An 18-year-old partially deaf girl, blind in one eye and with limited ability to walk and talk, spent 17 years of her life travelling between Chattanooga and Memphis for treatment of her brain tumor at a children’s hospital. Her last experience returning home from treatment via the Memphis Airport, however, left her beaten, blooded, and locked up in a Shelby County jail like the potential terrorist the TSA thinks she is.

Via Reason:

When Hannah went through the metal detector at the airport, an alarm went off. Disoriented by the noise, she did not immediately cooperate with TSA agents who asked to conduct further screening.

Shirley Cohen tried to inform the agents about her daughter’s disabilities, she told television station WREG, but airport police kept her away. That’s when the situation between Hannah and the TSA officials became violent:

“She’s trying to get away from them but in the next instant, one of them had her down on the ground and hit her head on the floor. There was blood everywhere,” said [Shirley].

The family is suing for a “reasonable sum not exceeding $100,000 and costs.” Reason reports that when asked about it, (an apparently heartless) TSA spokeswoman responded with, “passengers can call ahead of time to learn more about the screening process for their particular needs or medical situation.”

Oh really? Can they call ahead to learn more about how TSA agents have little to no discernment whatsoever between a suspected terrorist and a scared teen with mental and physical disabilities? Can a traveler call to find out just what kind of abuse they are most likely to receive from TSA thugs if they are already unfortunate enough to suffer from a “medical situation” when they are going to fly on a plane?

Versions of this same story come out of airports so often, the nation has sadly gotten used to this open show of innocent Americans being beaten like slaves at airports.

I have absolutely no respect for the so called “good TSA Agents”. Only animosity and scorn. No matter how “good” you are at your job or how honest or polite, if you are willing to work in a job that violates people’s God given constitutional rights, then you are NOT good.

Sorry, no. There are NO good TSA agents. Only bad and worse.

I fly a few times a year and haven’t had any issues with TSA. I used to fly a lot due to work as well, no issues.

I did have one TSA guy tell me that he frisked Al Gore.
He obviously thought it was a brush with greatness.

The only issue I ever had at the Airport was with United Airlines on the One Year Anniversary of 9/11.

There were a total of thirteen Passengers on my Flight to San Francisco.

My Luggage ended up in Denver.

If it was good enough for John Hancock, Patrick Henry, and George Washington, it is good enough for me. Our government has come to be not merely rotten with corruption through and through, but I assure you I pay my taxation and receive NO REPRESENTATION whatsoever.

Americans will never rebel and guns/ammunition will be priced/taxed out of the hands of most of us anyway before too long. So any calls for sedition on our part are only lip service by some or dreams by others. It will never happen. As long as we have too much to lose and lack the moral courage, it will never happen.

So don’t worry about people spouting off on an anonymous bulletin board. We are just venting because we are powerless to stop or slow the evil being foisted on us and that which is coming.

“Should be more than $100k.”

I don’t know about you, but if this had been my daugter, the “agents” involved had better have gone immediately into a witness protection program, because otherwise they’d have a “personal contract” put out on each of them.

Should be more than $100k.

Much more! That poor girl. Heartbreaking story. Prayers for her and her family for healing from this assault.

I’m starting to wonder if the GOPe masterminded the whole thing assassination plot in order to get rid of Ronald Reagan and put in their globalist dirtbag, George H. W. Bush.

Put away our tinfoil hat. You're paranoid! The Bushes (aka "nice guys") would NEVER do anything to screw America! OH WAIT.

Next thing you know one of us will be connecting Dubya Bush to 0bama for ignoring his radical past and allowing him to wreck America as President! OR noticing that neither Bush has ever criticized 0bama for trashing America as they openly trash Trump.

Meanwhile, the Hinckley family and the Bush family knew one another. Hmmmmm.

They DID?? Birds of a feather? (stacking a dozen tinfoil hats upon each other.) ;-)

Aaw, I'm all choked up at the photos of these two great patriotic American families -- Poppy Bush and his sons, George and Bubba.

Is there any photo of them lighting a cigar on the golf course with a crisp Benjamin? Or the three of them wearing matching UN robin's-egg blue suits?

The amount doesn’t matter. What matters is who has to pay it. And, as in every case like this, it won’t be the thug who assaulted the lady, but the government agency, to whom the money is little more than the cost of doing business. The criminal will remain free to repeat the crime, having suffered no consequence. if he were made to lose his savings and house, it would have a deterrent effect.

We decided same thing several years ago. It’s past the
point of ridiculous any more. The last flight I had out of
California where the plane took off late due to “problems”
& the takeoff was scary as blazes, I said no more. I did go
back on that to go to an event in New York several years ago.

Bad flight, lots of turbulence. We both agreed. No more!!

Correct about Bushes and Clintons — all globalists.

W wanted TSA. The counter arguments at the time were that 1) it would create yet another eternal bureaucracy and 2) private contractors doing the job would be more efficient.

W got it wrong again.

WAR is HELL! It’s easy to be a blowhard about stuff when a
person does not know what they are talking about. - I
was raised by a WWII combat veteran, shell-shocked all to
blazes. He taught me that WAR IS HELL! It is. Avoid it if
you can.

Founders have a different take on a governments relationship with the people, the use of force to curb government.

dear Sequoia,

The original design for federal employees was NOT because of reverse racism, i.e., ‘affirmative action’, but for the hiring of military veterans FIRST, before the average sloth off street.

It has come to the point that the innuendo so well put with brevity from ‘Blazing Saddles’ has come to be the norm. And yes, there are ‘micro regimes’ and ‘bruthas’ batcaves’, for i have seen them in action, in D.o.D., the Census bureau, and in the V.A.!!

‘BFI’? Bureau of Field Intelligence? Bureau of Finding Idiots? Bunch of F****** Ignoramuses?
I like the first one, but the others might be more true than I care to realize.

I would suggest that this isn't really a problem with a totalitarian government as much as it is a problem with an entire industry that is completely dysfunctional and is coming apart at the seams.

Passenger searches would probably be much more invasive if airlines were responsible for doing them.

I agree that most people are sheeple. That's why I can't stand flying on airlines even if invasive TSA searches were non-existent.
