Whether it's Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, the next president will need to deal with setting aside defense cuts as part of sequestration, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said Monday, though he gave an indication as to which gender he expects the 45th commander in chief to be.
The next president, whoever he or she most likely she is going to be, needs to get these defense cuts set aside," Graham remarked during a discussion at the Center for a New American Security's conference.
Graham also took a shot at Trump, his former presidential primary rival, in discussing the spectrum of Republican viewpoints on defense.
"The bottom line: I think theres a fight within the Republican Party for who we are on foreign policy, from the Rand Paul view to the Lindsey Graham, John McCain view," Graham said. "And Trumps somewhere out there, somewhere saying something, I dont know where hes at. So, so, I think theres a more traditional view of foreign policy emerging on the Republican side. Its one of the reasons I wanted to run for president."

Why doesn’t this faggot come out as the demrat he is?
Was it the uniparty that squashed the gun control jackasses in the senate this week. I’m confused.
Graham and the other RINOS makes Trump look better and better.
“Ms. Lindsay is running for President? Who knew?”
Linda is dreaming.
The NRA is a big donor. It was all Kabuki theater. Money rules.
Odd speculation, with not a shred of evidence, is a strange way to judge a party. So you hate the NRA too. So, do you support the RAt party?
I agree that money rules the world. I imagine you don’t give yours away.
Lindsay: “The next president is likely to be a ‘she.’”
Uh, no, Lindsay, you didn’t win enough votes to make that happen.
I actually ‘liked’ Graham during the Clinton hearings.
He was sharp, to the point and no nonsense.
HOWEVER, when he got to the Senate he sort of morphed into a Kennedy type...
In essence the ‘women’ were correct when they said the Senate was a ‘good old boys club’ and it is sort of being proved now, HRC was ‘one of ‘them’’ and it appears most of the Senators are backing her - well, at least not going all out for Trump.
I am glad they ALL signed the (so called) ‘pledge’ and it appears (surprise surprise) that the ONLY one it is/was intended to corral in was the OUTSIDER, Trump.
All of these ‘honorable members’ (excuse me while I barf) just smile when the ‘pledge’ is mentioned as they disregard it.
Let Trump ‘stray’ and see how long it takes to bring out the long knives.
At least DT has apparently UNIFIED both aisles and the occasional Independent as they ALL APPEAR TO HATE HIM or at least put aside their party preference in an attempt to derail him.
Too bad a camp can’t be made up of the disgruntled Donald & Burnie members - combined they just may be able to derail HRC and the other idiots they may replace her with....
I really don’t want to play on Bidens family ‘tragedy’ (but we know HE will) but look for an influx of ‘Beau’ stories, accomplishments, deeds etc and then a push for Joe....
Of course we have the Indian vote for E Warren - well she may get the 7/11 clerks......
And if that happens, the FINAL nail hits the coffin of a Republic formerly known as the United States of America. Done, dead and finished. I am glad that I am on the down side of the aging process and I have not many years left on this planet. I have saw its good days and now unfortunately I am seeing the end. Sadly, this is what America has become. Done, finished.
Graham needs to stop lying to voters and resign and then run as a democrat
If any of that bunch stopped lying, they’d blow up like a bomb.
I meant that he’s unpopular with Republicans (I think he only got renominated with about 59% of the vote if memory serves). Plus, most voters in SC wouldn’t vote Democrat so just being an R gets you lots of votes. Even still, while Tim Scott was getting more than 60% of the vote, Graham got only 54%
I still like Tim Scott. He’s helped my family before and seems to be a really decent guy. Nikki Haley, though, bugs me.
Public service has become Public Serve Us.
Yeah, I was wondering when his surgery will be completed.
I wonder if he knows that on this forum his name is often
“LINDA”? LOL.
Actually I support the NRA and have used guns for over 66 years.
Actually I support the NRA and have used guns for over 66 years.””
Oh, so this is how I was to interpret your #66 post? My error. I must be missing something.
Both the Paulbot and Graham neocon views are wrong.
