Donald Trump took to twitter Wednesday night and with the push of a button, perhaps shed some light on his VP choice -- just as his advisers hoped he wouldn't do.
Just before 10 p.m., Trump retweeted a supporter who said: "@KathyCeurter: @realDonaldTrump please Mr.Trump make @SenatorJeffSessions your VP. He is a perfect running mate.' He is a great guy!"

That quote comes from an evaluation of a Cavalry Second Lieutenant during the Indian Wars.
I thought that it was interesting to see what was important back then.
No physical fitness scores. No comments about supporting Equal Opportunity.
He was a good dancer, and by golly, that was important.

I think that is a poor selection. Sessions is secretary of state. He is no national politician. He is provincial and great with me but he is not what we need. We need a base broadening figure. Not a southern white male or they will eat us alive. Get gGeneral BOYKIN. What a great man he is .Praise Jesus.

Trump will not select as VP someone who is not eligible.

Not a southern white male or they will eat us alive. Concur; I just saw him on Fox Business with Lou Dobbs and now agree he should not be Trump's VP pick. He is not photogenic. His words are good; his voice and demeanor is not attractive for a VP candidate.
Rand Paul is intriguing; his father would, of course, have to support the ticket and would be a counter to the almost certain Sander's endorsement and campaign for Clinton.
Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania are the keys. Who helps the most with those while winning the same states Romney won ? Rubio and Kasich

I guess the profile fits Trump....good dancer and a good shot.
Quick on his feet and with a nimble mind.

Newt doesn’t help win any state Trump will not already win. Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Virginia may be a bridge over the Potomac too far given the recent Loudon County poll.

To conservatives such as myself who doubt Trump’s conservatism, Sessions would expand his appeal a good deal. Those who would like the Vice President to be highly qualified and experienced would also be pleased.

No doubt. Everyone is pushing his own choice and everyone thinks that Trump, being an intelligent man, will naturally make the same choice.

No doubt. Everyone is pushing his own choice and everyone thinks that Trump, being an intelligent man, will naturally make the same choice. Trump is unpredictable.
Expect the unexpected.

For some reason...( maybe it was the rain) I was really tired the remainder of the afternoon.
But I’m good this AM......and looking forward to helping the Trump gathering tomorrow.
It was a great meeting yesterday, wasn’t it!
During the night I kept waking up with ‘plans’........We need to get the ‘Women for Trump’ train going : )

I've seen this movie, Overconfidence before. It usually doubles with The Polls Are Wrong When Our Team is Behind.

I hope not. We need someone who will give ideological stability to the Trump ticket. I’m convinced Fallin can’t do that. I’m also not so concerned with regional appeal, I think we need a vp candidate who brings real policy heft as Trump is lacking in this area.
I don’t want someone just because they belong to a certain minority group or have regional appeal. I don’t want a glitzy pick, I want someone who’s going to resonate with the conservative base. And Sessions is the expert on the most important national issue of the day which is unchecked illegal immigration.

Hadn’t given Rand Paul a second thought. Now there’s a guy who can stand up to Hillary and the rest, and he’ll appeal to the Sanders people.
Has there been any inkling out there that Rand is being considered?

One may say that those talking don't know and those that know aren't talking.
The key is peace and reconciliation among all men and women of good will that are persuadable in order to turn this nation around to avert catastrophe.
With the corruption and depravity of this generation a terrible judgment is coming. Pray that God will spare our generation and that of our children's children. For how can we abide their destruction ? Pray that Donald Trump will humble himself in the sight of the LORD and walk worthy of his calling.
Who knows whether He will spare us if we ask ?
Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

Had a nice chat with our HQ Leader last night.
Lots of VP and other topics. He laughed at the Tea with Trump idea...said it just might get some women who seldom volunteer.
We are going to be at the gun show tomorrow and expect Brittany to provide the tent and table. I have two stars and stripes folding chairs to donate and the table cover. The setup should all be able to be passed to others to use for the coming months.
