Ben Carson has the ability to say everything he shouldnt at exactly the wrong time.
Since the former neurosurgeon has taken up the role of working on Donald Trumps vice presidential team, he has suggested that the candidate may pick a Democratic running mate, dropped she-who-must-not-be-named Sarah Palin as a potential pick and earlier generally questioned a number of the presumptive nominees habits from his Twitter use to lack of pragmatism.
So he was off the VP team in a hurry.

Interesting. I thought it was odd that Corey was named to be in charge of the VP selection team when Ben Carson was supposedly heading that up.
As he should be.
Why did Trump hire this clown anyway? I’m sorry, but Carson was never fit to run for President in the first place.
To the grainary with you.
Carson always struck me as the kind of person who was wholly incompetent to do anything outside of his specialty. Not a generalist by any means. A bit of a savant type, but tightly focused.
I dont know why somebody would want to make it appear that there is some rift, Williams said. On Dr. Carsons part, there is no rift. He continues to talk to Mr. Trump.
Naming unchosen ‘lightning rods’ do have consequences!!
Did Carson become a foot-in-mouth specialist?
In before the “ben carson’s a good man” parade.
Well, Trump showed a courtesy in giving Carson the chance.
Carson muffed it here, and I would doubt that Trump never warned him first either, though again I don’t have absolute proof.
This is not bad on Donald. It proves he is fair and reasonable and does not jump hastily to conclusions, but acts decisively when he must. We should never have expected Donald to prove he has a crystal ball. We should expect Donald to hope for the best in an inconclusive situation, and yet read present events.

Yes! ‘Savant’ explains everything he did (or failed to do) during his pitiful run for the nomination.
Excellent Post!
I always found it strange Obama not attacking Carson like he did D’Souza... like it was some kind of plant
Well he’s got some goodness, but probably not the kind needed to be a veep and it’s his own responsibility.
I would consider it a waste to have Ben Carson be a veep; Newt Gingrich could do it better as a political generalist and Ben Carson would be as smart as a whip on things medical and probably ought to be dedicated to that.
Reminds me of a lady friend who was a research scientist but was incapable of boiling spaghetti.
Carson IS a good man.
there is no one anywhere I’d rather have cut on my brain than him.
That said, he isn’t government material.
A fish-out-of-water situation. The answer isn’t to throw the fish in the garbage but to put it back in the water.
I think Dr. Carson might have said some things that the media re arranged...I think probably Trump has Dr. Carson doing something away from the Media...they are very good friends, so is Chris Christie, Trump and Dr. Carson...
I wouldn’t make to much of it...
What, we don’t have 100 controlled experiments to achieve “al dente” ??? Just read the box???
In more blunt times of the past, they used to call that kind of person an “Idiot Savant”.
Carson is not meant for the world of politics anyway. He’s too straight forward. Most politicians know they have to comment on everything, without fully committing to anything.
It’s not ‘nice’, but it’s the truth. Donald Trump definitely knows it.
