Dr. Ben Carson confirmed five people on presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trumps list of potential vice presidential running mates in a recent interview.
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 VP running mate to John McCain, was one of the five Carson said was on the list. The rest are all former 2016 GOP presidential candidates: Trumps closest competitor Sen. Ted Cruz, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Sen. Marco Rubio, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. (Read more at source)

I’m sure this is just a PR act of unity, intended to placate angry supporters of the other candidates, save face for the candidates themselves and let the establishment know that Trump doesn’t totally reject them . But it’s only that - PR (And a smart move I think.) That’s not to say the eventual VP isn’t on the list, only that not all 5 of those, barring unforeseen developments, is really contending.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, and NO!

I thought the list was a perfect plant. It includes a strong supporter (Palin) for credibility and a few grass snakes for testing, The strong supporter knows better; the grass snakes must behave until the formal announcement is made or risk being caged.
Just gonna let this sit there until he locks down 1237, and then get some momentum to the convention.
Then, hopefully, he drops a Newt-ron bomb...
It’s Sessions.
Trump loves playing head games (ref. the John Miller tape and how he punked Megyn Kelly with it).
This is just cheap entertainment for him, have Ben drop some names, see what hits the fan. You gotta figure Cruz will pop off with some remark.
She'd not be my first choice, but she'd be better than all except Cruz on that "leaked" list -- she's a broad, she's criticized Trump's supposed misogyny, if he asked her to be on the ticket now, and she said yes (with enthusiasm), it would make some heads explode. Babs Boxer, who beat her ass in her failed Senate run, is clearly in the bag for Hitlery, and has already brushed off her Cruz VP 'nomination', has now pissed off Bernie supporters. Also, when Cruz picked Fiorina, he gave her some legitimacy, and short of having Cruz as VP (which looks unlikely from the standpoint of Cruz apparent lack of enthusiasm; if he were offered it and said yes, the net impact is difficult to foresee), it would be a bridge-building move by the Donald, without having to give up much. The only times a VP is of any importance is 1) if the VP attempts to succeed the POTUS after the second term (Nixon tried to follow Eisenhower, Humphrey tried to follow LBJ/JFK, GHWB followed Reagan, Gore tried to follow Slick) and 2) if the POTUS dies in office (8 of 43, nearly twenty percent have died in office; nearly ten percent have been assassinated, and three of those assassinated have been Republican, which shows how the left behaves).
None of the above.
Trump is having fun with the media via Palin, and punking US with Democrate Kasick. Lol.
Go Trump.
I don’t believe any of them for a second. Not a split nano-second.
Good points.
Doesn’t make sense Newt not on the list?
Let them mock Palin all tyke way to tyke WH.
PRAY America wakes
I have always loved and supported Palin but she does such a great job getting candidates what they need. Why keep her from doing that?
5 out of how many? I bet there is much more.
That’s an interesting argument on behalf of Kasich. I didn’t suspect such a thing was possible. :’)
tyke?
Yeah being nice to the bruised and oversized egos.
That’s what I said....
