Dr. Ben Carson confirmed five people on presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trumps list of potential vice presidential running mates in a recent interview.
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 VP running mate to John McCain, was one of the five Carson said was on the list. The rest are all former 2016 GOP presidential candidates: Trumps closest competitor Sen. Ted Cruz, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Sen. Marco Rubio, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. (Read more at source)

Having lived in Ohio all my life let me say this.Kasich will alienate more voters than he would attract.
So Gov. Martinez of NM not on this list? She seems like a good choice. I would rather see Ted Cruz go to the Supreme Court than to the VP spot. Rubio is okay and Christie is fine although it’s basically just Trump-lite and won’t help expand the vote much. Kasich, if it would prevent Hillary Clinton from winning, is tolerable but I hope it’s Palin, she represents a political demographic that Trump does not and therefore expands the reach of the ticket.
FLAME? Seems those named may or may not be on the short list. Anyways go SARAH!!
I didn’t realize she was a pitcher.
Are you sure she’s not a basketball player?
I think it will be Sessions. Hope so.
I don’t believe that is a real list. Carson is pulling their leg.
I doubt a single one of them is on the REAL list. They probably had Dr Carson say this as a diversion.
If those are the only names on the list, Sarah Palin in a heartbeat.
And which state would Kasich deliver? The primary was an aberration. Folks are pretty fed up with OH’s false-good economy.
I back Trump, but this is a wildly disappointing list:
Palin, whom he won’t choose.
Cruz, which I wouldn’t mind and originally wanted—but ain’t happenin’.
And three RINOs.
Okay, I’d be happy with Palin or Cruz.
But it’ll be one of the three RINOs. Probably Kasich or Rubio supposedly because of the states they are from. But that is really bad strategy. He needs to solidify the conservative base, not RINO-land. And the veep seldom delivers an uncertain state. E.g., Ryan didn’t deliver Wisconsin in 2012.
Double ugg to big-amnesty, RINOs Rubio and Christie.
I vote NO to all those picks.
Sarah is politically radioactive (through no fault of her own).
Cruz is constitutionally ineligble and dislikes Trump intensely.
Christie is a political nothingburger.
Kasich is just plain nuts.
Rubio is an open borders traitor, who’s also ineligible.
I suggest they continue their executive search. Heck, I think Carson would be a great pick.
Newt is another that needs to go away also, perhaps back to a CFR meeting.

But Kasich is a massive Leftist.
You forget about Todd Palin's accident you empathy challenged narcissist. Todd came home April 1st after a serious snowmobile accident landed him in intensive care for two weeks. The Wisconsin Primary was April 5th.
I suspect this is another diversion to get the media to spend millions digging dirt, and generate thousands of hit pieces, and then he pulls a rabbit out of his hat at the convention.
I just showed that little clip to my wife and she just loved it.Thats a keeper for sure.
Jan Brewer, whom Trump mentioned, is also a bad idea.
But I loved his suggestion of Mary Fallin.
