I congratulate Donald Trump on securing his place as the Republican Partys presumptive nominee. There is no doubt that he successfully tapped into the deep sense of anger and frustration so many Americans around the country rightfully feel today.
The tremendous anger of the current U.S. electorate whether Republican, Democrat or independent is a result of people fearful about the future, concerned with the direction of our country and tremendously frustrated by the abject failure and inability of leaders in Washington, D.C. to make anything better.
American voters have made it clear that Washington is broken, but Im not optimistic that either of the leading candidates for President will put us on a better course.
The American Presidency is an office that goes beyond just politics. It requires of its occupant great fortitude and humility and the temperament and strong character to deal with the unexpected challenges that will inevitably impact our nation in the next four years.
Donald Trump has not demonstrated that temperament or strength of character. He has not displayed a respect for the Constitution. And, he is not a consistent conservative. These are all reasons why I cannot support his candidacy.
Hillary Clinton has proven to be an untrustworthy liberal politician who, if elected, would present a third term of the disastrous foreign and economic policy agenda of Barack Obama.
In November, I will not vote for Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, but I will support principled conservatives at the state and federal levels, just as I have done my entire life. For Republicans, there is no greater priority than ensuring we keep control of both chambers of Congress.

Jeb Bush will not ear green eggs and ham.
He will not eat it on a train.
He will not eat it on a plain.
(Ok, I bored now.)
The rest of us have seen this play out over and over again. We were told we had to vote for Specter, Chafee, Jeffords, Castle ... and we did. But when they lost the primaries, they either refused to endorse or simply became Democrats.
Loyalty works both ways, ¡¿Jeb?! You can't claim to be a "loyal" Republican when you're merely boosting people you would've supported anyway; loyalty runs through thick and thin. The grassroots has voted for Dole, McCain, Romney ... and many other disasters. Trump is not my guy: once again, I'm holding my nose. Now you need to man up, swallow your pride, and repay the very people who've had doubts about your family for decades, and turned out to put them in office all the same.
Hopefully this will be the end of the GOP as we know it.......
I think the Powers That Be are doing what they can to beat Trump. I see this sort of thing often these days, Republicans selling the concept that other Republicans should sit the election out to defeat Trump and save the Uniparty.
If this concept is not bought by enough of us, will they run a third party or two?
I held my nose and voted for both of those misfits. I support Trump.
Bwahahahah
That’s it, it’s over for Trump without Lil’ Jebby ...
Surprise, surprise, surprise, Jebbie broke his pledge. I think he is “lying”: he will vote for Mrs. Bill.
George P. Bush got more than 70 percent in the primary AND general election in 2014. TX people like George P. Bush.
Jeb.
No one cares.
I always said Terri would have been spared the liberal axe if Mr. Schindler had been a big donor to the Bushes.
You do realize that it was directed at JB?
What a cowardly POS!
Traitor to Republicans? By not voting you are giving it to Hillary. For shame, Jeb.
I voted for him as well. Twice. Hated it each time, but did it.
Unlike them, we were good soldiers.
Jeb! will vote for Hillary. No doubt in my mind.
The elder Bushes hang out with the Clintons. The whole Bush clan will vote for Hillary.
