Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was not fazed by former Mexican president Vincente Fox's apology which was reported Wednesday afternoon.
In an interview with Bill O'Reilly, he was asked what he thought about the former president.
"Got any message for the former president of Mexico?" O'Reilly asked.
"Yeah, get your money ready because you're going to pay for the wall," Trump said. "We'll get it straightened out."

Donald told him to get his money ready to pay for the wall. :)
Brings to mind this old song. I'm probably the only one posting on this thread who remembers it well as I was 13 when it hit the charts! :)
I was hoping for Cruz, but Trump will get my vote. No, I don’t trust him, but he has a lot of good point. #1: He’s not Hitlery.
If he can follow through on half of what he’s said, he will be an excellent choice.
I also like the fact that he’s a bit of a “loose cannon” as Hitlery says. That has a great upside! Foreign leaders will think twice before setting him off.
Trump’s plan makes money coming from the US to Mexico - of which the Mexican government normally takes a LARGE percentage of - and he will make the US take that large percentage.
The Mexican government WILL build a wall, and they will start by posting Mexican guards at the border to keep Mexicans IN.
Trump will still be trading with Mexico juts fine - perhaps even more - but the tax-free dollars sent to Mexico so that Mexico could tax it instead just went away.
Like I said, he’s not forcing them to build a wall. They will lose so much money, and see so much money from solid trade that THEY will build a wall.
You can’t build a wall from coast to coast, and you can’t get it done as the rogue president who has ousted both political parties.
Don’t look for a physical wall in most of the border. Look for Mexico no longer allowing it’s own people to the US.
Why would you believe a CNN poll which has Clinton up double digits and ignore a Rasmussen poll of 2 days before which has Trump up by 2?
“One of our Marinesformerwas driving near the Mexican border. He made a wrong turn at a confusing juncture and ended up in Mexico”
‘Yeah I remember that...Trump got him out and gave him $25K to get his life back together’
When the Mexican government was subjecting the Marine to what seemed at the time a never-ending nightmare, they forgot one thing. The limp-wristed America-hater, Obama, was not president-for-life. They had their fun with an innocent American hero; now Trump will drag their butts over red-hot coals. As well he should; the next Marine that accidentally crosses into Mexico will be treated like Spanish royalty.
Maybe he’ll be like Polk. The US citizenry have a strong desire so they elected a guy who got things done then bowed out.
i look at the past dozen polls. not at two.
rass called the last election wrong.
13 is WAY off and the more recent ones are much more optimistic.
it’s early and i best not pay attention or i will be eating zantac for my three daily meals
The treatment of Tahmooressi was deplorable. Especially since his story of it being an accident is credible when you look at the physical area he entered Mexico from. Any reasonable person could have made that mistake.
Why would you believe a CNN poll which has Clinton up double digits and ignore a Rasmussen poll of 2 days before which has Trump up by 2?
you gonna send it to me a third time or are you going to read the response i sent?
i’ve got plenty of room. you can send it all day.
Trump is Balls to the Wall:-) Love it!
Well,
THAT is the reason D. Trump has the support that he does.
He means what he says, and says what he means.
Plus, he loves this country, and wants to make it great again.
Those that do not believe this don't do so because of who he is, but because they have been burned so often by politicians, they have a hard time believing anyone really means what they say anymore.
Don’t remember that one - it came out before I was born, but thanks for the link. Good song.
“”Got any message for the former president of Mexico?” O’Reilly asked.
“Yeah, get your money ready because you’re going to pay for the wall,””
The world is about to get the full unadulterated “art of the deal” experience. This is gonna be fun!
“What recourse will Trump have to make his promises a reality? “
The Bully Pulpit to exhort the folks to pressure their Congress critters. And if that doesn’t work, then primary out the SOBs in two years. That’ll scare the crap out of the rest.
THIS is why Trump is going to make America great again. We need to treat liberals such as Mexico’s president like the vermin they are, not as intellectual equals.
I can’t believe you spelled the Marine’s name right. My respect for you is vast.
Agree that the Marine’s story was entirely plausible. He was on his way from FL, where (iirc) he’d been unable to find a job. He had all his belongings in his car and was following up a promising job offer out west. He had no reason to detour into Mexico. It was a simple mistake.
It turns out Mexico made a mistake, too. At least that is how they will come to see it, if Trump has anything to say about it.
“Trump is running on a small, sharply focused set of promises: build the wall/restore sovereignty, set the conditions for a thriving economy that produces good jobs, get the debt under control, rebuild the military, fix the VA, and rip up bad trade deals to be replaced with deals favorable to the US. These are the promises he will put all his time and energy into. The results will astound.”
He doubles down on that, btw, in a New York Times interview today about what his first 100 days as president would be like (http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/05/us/politics/donald-trump-president.html?_r=0).
Article basically says talking with diplomats and foreign leaders will not be a priority. At all.
Guy’s all about “America First.” That’s his focus. Looks like he means it.
