Clinton Apologizes for Saying She’d Put Coal ‘Out of Business’

Hillary Clinton apologized on Monday for saying in March that she would put coal miners and coal companies “out of business” as part of a transition to alternative energy sources.

The Democratic front-runner and former secretary of state called the prior remark a “misstatement” as she campaigned in Kentucky, ahead of the state’s Democratic primary on May 17, CBS News reported. The small group discussion took place in what was once one of the country’s top coal producing counties, as protesters gathered outside.

“What I said was totally out of context from what I meant,” Clinton said. “It was a misstatement, because what I was saying is that the way things are going now, we will continue to lose jobs.”

Mountaineers don’t forget. She’s screwed. We won’t forget that or her anti-gun stance. I don’t know why she’s wasting her time in the state. Obama never did. Both Gore and Kerry were DOA. I’m not sure why Carleton Heston came to the state. His appearance was appreciated but he was preaching to the choir.

This ranks right up there with "it depends on what the meaning of "IS" is... what an a33hole.

She considers coal miners to be "white trash" rednecks, and as a Democrat elitist who instinctively looks down her nose at "those people", she doesn't give a damn about them. She already bragged that she was going to put them out of work and their employers out of business, and they will not forgive her or forget, either.

Democrat voters, being drones from the hive, like to be lied to. It’s the only mental exercise they get in a day. See my tagline ...

Misstatement (as defined by Hillary): Any statement I made in the past that works against me now.

She’s like the spoiled, elistist, kid who thinks she can do/say anything and get out of a jam by saying, “I’m sorry”.

The terms “misspoke” only means, “I said something stupid, and got caught.”.

She is, and has always been, a total fake.

Doesn’t change the facts, that she did put coal out of business. And I love coal, its America’s most abundant, affordable fuel!

Maybe she’ll have Marie Harf come out to tell us that Hillary’s words are too nuanced for we mere common people to uinderstand.

Hillary had best bone up on the Battle of Blair Mountain of 1921. She’d learn what coal miners like my grandfather really thought about government intervention.

But then, the miners were just a bunch of bitter clinger whites with guns, so now, what difference does it make?

It’s still even money as to whether Cankles waddles into the WH in 2017. This campaign is white knuckle all the way.

There are lots of black Americans with guns, too. The masters represented by the Hillarys and Sanders and Schumers want a race war/civil war, to bring America down so the commie leftists can 'rebuild it' the way they envision it to work better.

What a surprise these devils have in stored when black people with guns have to defend hearth and home from fellow blacks, so they turn to their fellow white Americans to band together against the common enemy ... the globalist masters! As Bracken says, riding the tiger is different from planning to ride the tiger.
