Trump surged as the Republican Partys frontrunner on his campaign platform of deporting illegal aliens, promoting trade deals that prioritize the interests of American workers, and rejecting the party elites desire for increased military adventurism.
Ted Cruz, by contrast, wrote an op-ed urging Congress to fast track Obamas Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). No fast-tracked trade agreement has ever been defeated.
Sen. Grahams energetic endorsement of Cruz and Cruzs refusal to disavow the endorsement of a man who many believe betrayed the American people with his unyielding push for mass migration will no doubt raise questions as to whether Cruz still supports his 2013 amendments to radically expand immigration.
Graham, as a backer of the 2013 Rubio-Schumer amnesty plan and the 2007 McCain-Kennedy amnesty plan before that, is perhaps the Republican Partys most outspoken proponent of open borders immigration policies.
Perhaps more than anyone, Sen. Graham has attacked GOP voters, lawmakers, and thinkers for opposing mass migration policies.

Did Trump disavow Christie?
During a competitive election cycle, politicians can only afford to disavow endorsements from the most radical elements.
Look, at some point we need to unify the party behind either Trump or Cruz, so disavowing endorsements at this point won’t be helpful.
Splitting the party will guarantee a Cankles win in November. You all can do what your conscience dictates, but I’d take Kasich over Cankles every single time, and I am not going to allow Cankles get into the White House just to uphold principles.
These circular firing squads need to end.
Christie, a highly unpopular RINO just 3 months ago, is now forgiven. /src
Did Trump disavow Christie?
You’re kind of comparing apples to oranges here. These people aren’t endorsing Ted Cruz for President, they’re endorsing him as a 1,237 spoiler in the hopes of a contested convention so they can install GOPe. And Ted is happy to accept that outcome.
Name me a candidate, in the history of American politics, who ever disavowed an endorsement.
Christie never spoke of murdering Trump or mocked his supporters like Graham
Tell that to David Duke
In a pig's eye.
Ted Cruz is in this for one reason and one reason only: to WIN the nomination and the Presidency. Any suggestion to the contrary is eyewash. Pig eyewash.
When I think of Lindsay Graham, 1st thing I think of (besides his man-crush on McCain) his war policies (he wants more of it).
Ted’s mask is completely off. I’ve been saying for months that everything that happens in DC is theater and Ted’s theatrical role was that of an ‘outsider’. It was all a sham and his actions during this nomination process have proven that to be the case.
Well, if Ted Cruz thinks he can capture 80% of the remaining delegates, he’s delusional. If he thinks he can win a convention fight, with delegates who are selected from among local GOP establishment types, he’s also delusional.
So he’s either in it to spoil the race in favor of the GOPe, or he’s delusional. With Bush family staff members, hundreds of millions in shady Super PAC dollars, etc... I tend to think it’s the former.
And all of the Cruz endorsers will have even MORE egg on their faces.
When is the last time any Democrat politician or their media mouthpieces stampeded to the microphone to denounce radical endorsement from racist groups such as the New Black Panther Party? Nation of Islam? CAIR? Communist Party, U.S.A.? La Raza? (Only Certain) Black Lives Matter? Or any other scores of extremist groups which we could all name?
Tell you what, Cruz disavows Graham when Trump disavows his thuggish campaign manager
Why should he disavow it? Graham is endorsing Cruz, not the other way around. Everyone knows their issue differences. Should they NOT be able to work together?
Trumpettes take issue with everything that is not about them and their Shock Jock Candidate.
As I understand it, Trump and Christie have been friends for years.
Outside of his college roommate, I don't think Cruz even HAS any friends.
When you take real conservative stands you usually don’t
Is that you Michelle Fields? Everyone ran from your lies once they saw video.
Exactly. I have no objection to Ted Cruz or anyone else running if he had a plausible path to the nomination. Cruz doesn't, if he has any sense, he knows that he won't get the 80%+ of remaining delegates that he needs. That means that he's knowingly doing this to give the GOP the brokered convention that it wants.
Cruz probably also realizes that he's about as well-liked as Trump within the party and has zero chance of being the nominee at a brokered convention, where someone to the RNC's liking like Bush or Romney will be the likely nominee.
So Ted isn't even running for Ted anymore, he's just become an attack dog for Jeb and Mitt.
Ted Cruz is the epitomy of the 100% political “whore”. He will sell his soul, his country, his family, to obtain power and greed!!! Come on....Glenn Beck, Lindsey Graham, Mitt Romney, John McCain, Nikki Haley, etc. are all total political failures and major losers to boot!!! Ya gotta be kidding me!!!
I have no idea how the voters of Utah will vote tomorrow....but, the pundits and media are saying it will be a Ted Cruz landslide. Of course, the victory means nothing positive for Cruz since, within minute or two, after, Arizona will be landslided by Donald J. Trump!!! Every voter in Utah that votes for Ted Cruz is simply throwing away their vote, which, when cast for Ted Cruz is as good as casting it for Hillary Clinton!!! Go figure....that’s called shooting your self in the foot!!! Talk about not-too-bright-folks!!!
