This week, in the Utah nominating caucus, I will vote for Senator Ted Cruz.
Today, there is a contest between Trumpism and Republicanism. Through the calculated statements of its leader, Trumpism has become associated with racism, misogyny, bigotry, xenophobia, vulgarity and, most recently, threats and violence. I am repulsed by each and every one of these.
The only path that remains to nominate a Republican rather than Mr. Trump is to have an open convention. At this stage, the only way we can reach an open convention is for Senator Cruz to be successful in as many of the remaining nominating elections as possible.
I like Governor John Kasich. I have campaigned with him. He has a solid record as governor. I would have voted for him in Ohio. But a vote for Governor Kasich in future contests makes it extremely likely that Trumpism would prevail.
I will vote for Senator Cruz and I encourage others to do so as well, so that we can have an open convention and nominate a Republican.

This is further proof (unnecessary) that Ted doesn’t have the political chops necessary to be an outsider president.
I should be a natural supporter of Cruz-I was at one point. Sad but true that he couldn’t sell ice water in the desert.
This will help Trump.
You are a sweetheart....thanks so much, Gogeo.

There are a lot of Mormons here in AZ. Hope it does not make a difference.
If the current trends continue, Ted will reach his own "Kasich moment" probably by April 27th if not sooner.
If he steps aside at that point then we're all in for the big win, but if he presses on, this will not go well for anyone and we'll all know it right then.
Mmmm, don’t think so.
Our Father, who art in heaven, Howard be thy name?
just look it up, man, damn.
An endorsement from Romney is a net negative for Cruz. Poison pill to kill his chances?
In Utah, it won't matter. Small, deeply religious state. Caucus system, with the added tomfoolery of online voting for the first time in US History. The Bishops will be in the voting place guiding their flock to vote appropriately. I predict that Cruz will win the state handily. It will be a surprise if he doesn't hit the WTA threshold of 50%.
This is more about Romney rehabilitating HIMSELF than helping Cruz. By chiming in to fake-endorse, he steals some of Cruz's glory.
Trump's rally in Utah tonight, with it's "protestors" gathered outside might be enough to keep Cruz under 50%, which would be something of a victory for him. Eating into those delegates, even a little, would be a big deal. I'm not expecting him to earn any.
Arizona will be a different story. He'll win that in a rout.

Anarchy is not conservatism.
BTW: I made this for you
So he didn’t endorse Cruz for President...just for the primaries as a tool to get to open convention so Trump cannot win...
Wow...and Ted is OK with this...
Gee, some outsider Cruz is LOL.
The hands of Trump were photoshopped - You can tell by the dots around the hands - amatuer job. So thus my opinion of you.
Uh hes doing it so he can win the nomination.

There are two possibilities if Don doesn’t get the nomination.
1: Cruz is dumped for the establishment candidate. What a loser.
2: Cruz manages to get in, and now the establishment owns his soul.
This was a serious deal with the devil Cruz made, and I can NOT see how it could possibly turn out well for him.
I'd probably say that Ted Cruz's New NationaI Security Team Includes Establishment Insider Elliott Abrams. What say you?
And you can’t tell I enlarged Hillary’s? It’s a fricken joke—I’m not going to spend all day making it look real. geesh get a sense of humor.
Well, perhaps Cruz shouldn’t lie about Trump’s positions, hmmmm?
