Ted Cruz on Wednesday mocked Donald Trump for bowing out of a debate next week in Salt Lake City, and the Texas senator vowed to call out the GOP front-runner at a gathering of a major pro-Israel lobby group next week.
Trump said earlier in the day that he would not participate in the Fox News debate in Utah on Monday, and John Kasich quickly said that he wouldn't attend if Trump didn't. Later on Wednesday, Fox News formally canceled the event.
Trump said he would use his time instead on Monday to address a conference hosted by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the prominent pro-Israel group. Cruz's campaign said in a statement Wednesday that Cruz would use his time at the same conference to "highlight Trump's positions -- or lack thereof -- in front of the thousands of AIPAC members in attendance."

They only scheduled it a few days ago. Trump had other plans, Kasich backed out because without Trump no one will watch.
Cruz could master debate himself and we’d learn the same thing about him.

It will be interesting to see if Trump can give a serious speech to a serious group.
He is used to people talking in tongues and shouting ‘amen.’
If he’s smart, he will have someone write a speech for him to give but nobody called him smart.
You were doing what you thought was right. No one can do more than that....and he fooled more than just you. He managed to fool me long enough to get elected Senator.

If you seriously believe that, now might be the time to show some graciousness to Cruz and his supporters so that they will help Trump when he marches on the victory.

Cruz says all the time he won’t personally attack trump and in the next breath he’s attacking trump. Voters are not stupid. They see phony a mile away.
If Trump is such a standup guy, why is he afraid to debate Cruz?

Well Cruz actually is the only conservative among the three remaining candidates.
You don’t have to like the guy, but he’s not pimping Amnesty like Kasich, and he doesn’t have a laundry list of past left-wing policy positions like the NY reality TV guy.
I think Trump knew Ted would start throwing out lies yet again. Trump doesn’t need Fox. They need him. Cruz is just floundering ... trying to make himself relevant.

Trump can’t even stand up to Megyn Kelly. He just sits in his bed in New York and tweets insults about her like a teen age girl wuld do.
Santorum will mend fences with the party and bring along the evangelicals.
Cruz is acting like a big jealous whiny baby because he wasn’t invited to meet with Israel. If we kicked him out, would Canada or Cuba want him back?

How many states did the great debater win last night? I hope Ted stays in through the convention, because watching him get humiliated is very satisfying. Looking forward to Trump crushing Hillary in November.
