KC - I’d tell you to move up here, but there are a lot of folks that have moved up from CA over the years to WA and OR and ruined our states. It really is a very beautiful state. I live in one of the burbs right now and not nearly as bad as Seattle proper.
I took a few classes and used to decorate cakes for fun for family functions some time ago - enjoyed it a lot (except cleaning up the mess of numerous colors of frosting a pastry bags ;-)
Did a big 3-tiered wedding cake some years ago plus a sheet cake and hauled them 30 miles in 90 degree weather. Held my breath but everything turned out OK.
Haven’t done many since then except for my nephew’s birthday cakes. Decorate Christmas and Easter cookies, but not much else any more. Something I did rather enjoy.
You’re right - decorated cakes have gone through the roof price-wise!

You’re very welcome! Not sure how good my insight is. From what I’ve read, OH is pretty much too close to call. Everyone has been talking about OH and FL, but there’s IL and MO, too. There isn’t a huge gap in the polls in those states. I think NC and FL will probably be OK, but the others are anyone’s guess. Fingers crossed and prayers up that Mr. Trump does really well tomorrow!

I have been up to your neck of the woods a few times to check things out, however you are correct there are WAY to many CA. transplants there!! I have been giving Texas some serious thought, but there are MANY, MANY, Ca. Transplants heading there also!!! My mom just asked if she could PLEASE watch Fox news I turned it on for her and it is ROMNEY rally !!! Changed the channel to OANN mom not happy!!!!
