Donald Trump came out in full force against Ohio Gov. John Kasich in his home state on Saturday, accusing him of destroying the coal industry, knocking his involvement in Lehman Bros. and saying he is weak on immigration, among a slew of other criticisms.
He also denounced Kasich for supporting the Trans Pacific Partnership trade agreement and the North American Free Trade Agreement.

I think Kasich just lost a close race in Ohio over last night. This Sheriff gets it.
Republican presidential candidates can’t win the White House unless they win Ohio.
So what sense does it make for a Republican candidate like Donald Trump to come to Ohio and attack its popular Republican governor?
At least when Donald Trump attacked the Pope he didn’t do it at the Vatican.
Kasich is not as popular as you make him out to be:
1. NAFTA
2. TPP
3. Obamacare
4. Amnesty
5. Lehman Brothers
6. Ohio jobs exported to Mexico
7. Ohio jobs exported to China
Do you keep up with the news at all? Did you see the 1st amendment trampled on last night in Chicago? Kasich blamed Trump for the ensuing violence, which is akin to blaming the rape victim. Kasich is a pussy, and now Ohio can see that, thanks to Trump.
Can’t run in the general election unless you win the nomination.
Ohio is winner take all and a Trump win there all but locks up the nomination. Mend fences later.
This was a great speech.
I especially love this part:
“Bernie should tell HIS people...Stop, stop.”
And :
“These are people (Bernieshirts) who DON’T want to see America Great Again.”
According to a March 10, 2016, report from the Public Policy Polling organization, ‘’Unlike Rubio who’s become incredibly unpopular at home over the course of his Presidential bid, Kasich has remained very popular with a 54/36 approval spread. He leads Clinton 52/37 and Sanders 54/34 in head to heads.’’
Ohio is a must-win state for Republicans, and John Kasich can beat both possible Democratic candidates by double digits.
But why let reality get in the way of allowing Donald Trump to destroy the Republican party by losing the must-win state of Ohio after alienating the 54% of Ohioans who have supported John Kasich for eight years?
A sitting governor that is in a horse race with an outsider in his own home state with all the political clout at his command is obviously not popular with Ohio voters. Otherwise he would be trouncing Trump.
Kasich’s support for TPP, Amnesties, Wall Street bailouts are hurting him big time. He is compromised like the rest of the field except Trump.
