Republican presidential candidates can’t win the White House unless they win Ohio.
So what sense does it make for a Republican candidate like Donald Trump to come to Ohio and attack its popular Republican governor?
At least when Donald Trump attacked the Pope he didn’t do it at the Vatican.
Kasich is not as popular as you make him out to be:
1. NAFTA
2. TPP
3. Obamacare
4. Amnesty
5. Lehman Brothers
6. Ohio jobs exported to Mexico
7. Ohio jobs exported to China
Do you keep up with the news at all? Did you see the 1st amendment trampled on last night in Chicago? Kasich blamed Trump for the ensuing violence, which is akin to blaming the rape victim. Kasich is a pussy, and now Ohio can see that, thanks to Trump.
Can’t run in the general election unless you win the nomination.
Ohio is winner take all and a Trump win there all but locks up the nomination. Mend fences later.
A sitting governor that is in a horse race with an outsider in his own home state with all the political clout at his command is obviously not popular with Ohio voters. Otherwise he would be trouncing Trump.
Kasich’s support for TPP, Amnesties, Wall Street bailouts are hurting him big time. He is compromised like the rest of the field except Trump.
