Friday, March 11, 2016: At a media availability in Chicago, Ted Cruz basically blamed Donald Trump for the violence and protests that occurred earlier in the day at a Donald Trump rally at the University of Illinois-Chicago. The rally had to be cancelled due to safety concerns.

"Clearly Trumps weak.. a soft little baby." Trump had consulted with the Chicago Police before the rally. They mentioned that Move On was organizing a protest and it would get violent. Trump did not want his supporters to get hurt. So, don't call Trump your adolescent names. And if you don't clearly understand the danger that Trump supporters faced, you are completely lost and should be ashamed.

And if you think that Trump is counting on US security, I suspect that what he has supplied for himself is far more effective and lethal than many suspect. If I were him, that is what I would doI think I would only trust well paid ex-SAS and ex-legionnaires.

Cops were beaten by leftist thugs and Cruz blames Trump for holding a peaceful rally.
What a dick.

The thing that bothers me most is this is just the first such event of its kind. This will get worse.

The Chicago police closed the rally since they were unprepared.

I have seen many a Cruzer dump him tonight just here on FR. The Fat Lady is ready to sing for Ted and he did it to himself.
Sad.

You and me both saw right through Cruz. He is nothing more than an over-ambitious career politicians, who will say anything and do anything to promote Goldman Sachs bigwig Heidi Cruz’s husband.

I just heard the top-of-the-hour Fox News on the local talk radio station. They played brief clips from Rubio, Cruz and Trump concerning the Chicago situation. Rubio said something to the effect that this reflects poorly on what the country has become. The Cruz clip was nothing special. They didn't play the interesting part. Trump said they had to cancel because they didn't want people to get hurt.

Trump let a bunch of children shut down his rally:
Believe me, thats not going to happen to Trump.
That will never happen with me, he said. I dont know if Ill do the fighting myself or if other people will, but that was a disgrace. I felt badly for him. But it showed that hes weak.
“Clearly Trumps weak.. a soft little baby.”
Manifestly incorrect interpretation:
This shows Trump’s flexibility: he knows there are things more important than himself....like cooperating with law enforcement to prevent violence and injury to thugs, innocents, and cops.

It won’t do you any good to attempt to discuss anything with that person. All you are doing is wasting your time. :)

I was wrong thinking Cruz was a conservative. Weird guy to blame Trump. He no longer appears rational. I guess his mask just cracked. I missed Rubio’s statement but I was told he made a more honest statement although he inserted a tiny “blame Trump” implication.

He was speaking very specifically about Sanders letting himself get pushed off stage by BLM.

Does Chicago ever have any ‘shame’?? They apparently have none in regards to murder of their citizens. About the only ‘shame’ I ever hear/read about coming from that city is when the Cubs/Bears/Blackhawks do poorly........

You didn’t answer my question, but it’s okay. I will assume you agree with Sen Cruz, still support him and the fact Americans were denied free speech tonight was no big deal to you because Trump can be invited back.
