HORROR! Conservative Website REDSTATE Calls on Far Left Protesters to BRING GUNS to Trump Rallies

REDSTATE CALLS ON FAR LEFT PROTESTERS TO BRING GUNS TO TRUMP RALLIES!

RedState, a right of center website, managed by Trump-basher Erick Erickson, is part of Townhall Media. The website claims it has three goals:

1) Educate conservatives
2) Motivate conservatives to get involved in the political process
3) Activate conservatives through RedState’s support and tools

Today Redstate called on all far left protesters to BRING FIREARMS to Donald Trump rallies.

This is a new low for the Trump-hating ‘so-called’ Conservative media.

They can’t beat Trump at the ballot box so now they want his supporters shot dead.

It’s one thing to promote an opposing candidate. It’s quite another to want him and his supporters dead.

I do hope the FBI is notified about this threat.

Below is a screengrab from Redstate website today.

My advice for reporters and protestors visiting Donald Trump events

" Neil Stevens writes: My advice for reporters and protestors visiting Donald Trump events is simple: You have a right to keep and bear arms. Use it. If Trump’s brownshirts know their targets are armed, they’ll get less handsy, fast.

Got that, Trump supporters.

Erick Erickson is right to be afraid.

I support Trump because I am evil. Pathetic fools!

This silly republic is doomed! Muahahaha!

Robot Romney and the Pope are also in agreement. And so is Hillary. It’s a VRWC.

Open Borders cabal has gone all out leftist. Their ends justify the means.

It sounds like Van Jones is now advising the Romney/Beck/Bush operatives. Yikes.

To see this justified, here, is really disturbing.

Do Ted Cruz a favor. Do NOT try to justify or defend this.

Have him contact his supporters at Redstate and tell them to delete this at once. Then Cruz should hold a press conference publicly chastising Red State for this sort of insanity.

That would actually help him with voters.

Yeah Ercikson is basically now trying to be a Beck Clone with radio/website/publishing.

Problem is he postures as this great “Religious Conservative” and then behaves like such a petty little nasty man on his show and Twitter it is impossible to take him seriously anymore. Actions speak louder then words

Really stupid for Cruz to blame the target for the acts of the aggressors.

This is going to bite him hard. GOP Voters are not going to be impressed that a GOP Candidate is siding with the rioters.

***If this were in any other context (Bundy standoff, anyone?), everyone here would be all in favor of it. But because it’s Trump, you all throw away your principles and cry for the Government to come and save you from the people with guns.
Absolutely astonishing hypocrisy on the part of the Trump cultists here.***

And if this were Trump calling for the Black Lives Matter Anarchists who burned down Ferguson, Missouri to show up armed at a Ted Cruz rally you’d be shouting from the roof tops!

Everyone seems to have lost their damn minds! Of course people should exercise their 2nd Amendment rights. Do you think Hinckley was exercising his? Use your brain! Not everyone should be in a crowd with a gun. These are professional rioters he is calling to show up armed. And based on their behavior I’m sure some of them are unstable. No way you would have been for this a year ago!

When the elite are challenged and can no longer control the politics of a situation they always turn to violence. History is full of examples. Anyway, I though Redstate fired the idiot Erik Erikson. That dude looks like he just crawled out of his mother’s basement.

Violent rhetoric from both the protesters and Trump leads to an atmosphere that is dangerous. Guns in a situation where people are emotionally-charged and trigger-happy could be catastrophic. Are the guns to be blamed, or the people who are emotionally-charged and trigger-happy?

Fact is, it takes both - motive and opportunity. It takes a chamber filled with explosives and a spark to start it on fire. The best thing for safety’s sake is to avoid both the explosive chamber and the spark.

Which is what Ted Cruz was saying. But nobody really listened to the letter or the spirit of what he said.

When the Tea Party was being falsely called violent the members knew they would be baited to cause violence. Everybody was very careful to say we needed to NOT fall for the bait.

A little bit of that wisdom would be useful right about now - because BLM, moveon.org, Bill Ayers, La Raza, etc ARE violent thugs. We all know that. We need to not be stupid. That includes everybody, including Red State. And this claim - though protected free speech just like Trump’s words were - is NOT HELPING.

That’s all Cruz was saying. This emotionally-charged, trigger-happy atmosphere is NOT HELPING. It is setting up conservatives to be blamed for another Reichstag Fire. And we all know that’s what Obama wants. Let’s not be stupid, guys.

Sadly, I agree. It IS out of control, and the leftists are going to get their Reichstag Fire if all the candidates don’t figure out how to get this under control.

Trump is never violent. That is my final word on this. This is all made up and I am really offended that Trump supporters are being villified and blamed for what Marxists and GOPe do.

I will never vote for Ted Cruz, ever. I do not like him because he is opportunist slime.

He needs to explain why he appeared at some church nut rally where a “pastor” pontificated about it being okay to kill gays.

I consider that somewhat violent. Who is he to talk? I am sure this will be spread all over the place very soon. It is on video.

That’s what most people I’ve heard anything from have said. They aren’t happy with any of the choices and they feel that the nation is lost.

What we really need is the true story of how we got where we’re at now, so those who have conspired to destroy this nation are served justice. As it is, there is violent anger because we’ve been without the rule of law for the past 7 years. It feels like the Wild West because it IS the Wild West. But how do we change that without the whole place exploding first?

I think the first step is to make sure we’re sane - not just running on sheer lynch-mob emotions.
