In August of 2015, against considerable backlash, we stood firm on a fundamental position that Senator Ted Cruz did not have a pathway, a roadmap, to victory in the 2016 GOP presidential primary.
Despite the fundamentally sound reasoning for our prediction, which was entirely based on congressional district by district analytics, our position drew an immense amount of criticism and even a quick response from the Cruz campaign itself (Brian Phillips).
Unfortunately, tonight’s South Carolina results vindicate a massive amount of historical research. There simply is no pathway to victory when you rely almost exclusively on “proselytizing as an electoral strategy“:

It’s not personal, it is simply a factual reality. The Ted Cruz Road Map is non-existent; and beyond the SEC primary states there is little to no organization at all. Nothing in the state of Florida. The campaign is NOT what most people have been led to believe it is.
We strongly urge people to do their own research and to connect their own dots. The campaign will NOT stop sending you donation requests, that much is certain.
And tainted at that.Politically everything about him has had questions. Every vote he's made (though they are few) and everything he's done has required apologies, excuses or explanations.
Trump or Cruz should do an ad with a Rubio puppet. So many special interest strings. Keep adding strings to Rubio.
He is a true blue conservative but you have to be likable to run and win. He's over 40. It's not likely he's going to change enough to be liked...Unless he lives a lie with a false front...But then that's why he's not liked.
Do the SEC states go 58% for a “Lindsay Graham” in their primaries? What kind of governor do they elect - establishment hacks?
I can't see Ginsberg hanging on to her seat for much longer, especially now that her dearest friend and co-worker has died.WHAT? Thank god she wasn't a "dearest friend" of Trump or we would never hear the end of it
If proving on the stage that Rubio was lying when he called you a liar about his lies.... isn’t enough to damage Rubio, then what would be?
That tells us that the truth doesn’t matter to voters.
We will get what we deserve.
...which I am.
and wouldn't knock Cruz
I knocked Cruz by saying I liked him and didn't want to see him humiliated?
Then I really apologize.
I don’t even remember how our conversation started!! :)
i’m sorry man.
take the peace offering?

No executive experience. Never ran a hot dog stand successfully. He is a lawyer. Talks a good game. Has nothing to show in accomplishments in US Senate. Not a single colleague from the 99 senators he works with every day has endorsed him. Not even Mike Lee or Sessions. Which tells me, Ted’s biggest problem is likability.
His is most suitable for SCOTUS, not chief executive of USA who must get along with congress, and governors, and foreign leaders, to make good deals for we the people.
Cruz would clear out the whole lot of them. But I think it's too late now.Nope, sorry, it's not the fault of his campaign. He is a sleazy, dishonest politician. A leopard can't change his spots.
Don't forget his refusal to apologize for the mailers.
Excellent suggestion. That will ensure Rubio does not win nomination. Majority of Cruz’s voters, outside of FR, will migrate to Trump.
Ouch!
I can't envision President Trump nominating Cruz for any position. He doesn't abide liars, and I think he's had quite enough from Cruz.FINALY a healthy dose of clear thinking and sanity without the wishful thinking crap about what Trump should do for their low-life loser candidate.
The rallies for Trump in southern states are going to be YUGE! Especially if Trump wins Nevada by double digits.
LOLLOLOLOL
Jeff Roe is the problem then Cruz is a bad CEO of his own campaign. I do not think anything happens in that campaign without go ahead from Cruz. Cruz urgently needs a coach to improve likability.
Ted Cruz made a big mistake getting involved with lunatic Glenn BeckCruz's major donor (Mercer) gave control of the superpac to a Beck affiliate...Cruz is bought and paid for by Mercer and by extension, Beck, Cruz has no choice.
