Headline only right now.
First and foremost, they want to keep his reputation intact for the ages. There may have been medical conditions that they did not want made public.
Natural causes...
A heart attack is “natural causes”...and may well be what his cause of death was. I think she had to change her wording because death from a heart attack is a medical term. Since she’s not a doc and didn’t examine him, she can’t legally determine it was heart failure.
Still, it’s an odd case all around.
Not a heart attack... so... that really throws this into a tizzy too with hearing all day, that he was old, fat, smoked, etc.
What would be the point of the autopsy? He’s passed. It’s not going to change that.
That’s what I read. They said there was no reason for autopsy but if there was a pillow over his head I would at least taken a picture and requested CSI. I don’t know if autopsy would show anything for smothering unless there was a struggle.
Antonin Scalia’s Cause Of Death Undetermined (UPDATED)
Huffington post changes story.
Was he writing an important decision? There were many controversial cases being heard.
bump bkmk
How do they know it wasn’t a heart attack????????
Did he kill himself??? If he didn’t kill himself then how could they say no heart attack??? This whole thing makes no sense.
How many hours after does rigor mortis and blood pooling set in?
Well according to episodes Ive seen of Law and Order SVU(Where else will I get my crime info from LOL) it can take between 24-72 hours for a body to show signs of decomp, but it also depends on the weather, if it was a hot day the body decomposes faster than if it were cold. The family doesn’t want an autopsy performed, I know in the Jewish faith we don’t do autopsies unless its absolutely necessary, maybe they know something we don’t but if I had a family member die unexpectedly I would want to know the cause
They need to do an autopsy.
I wouldn’t want an autopsy for one of my loved ones. It’s a pretty gruesome process.
Mri last week and a dropped cell phone convo to announce the death:
FYI justice of peace stated it was not myocardial infarction. I don’t believe they said it wasn’t “heart attack”...many ways for the heart to skip.
Perhaps his galpal left the aroma of her perfume on the pillow and he was enjoying a sniff when his body gave up the ghost. Scent of a woman and all that...
Murdered by Obama....
It’s not that much more gruesome than the typical embalming.
Like murder?
I hope you are joking.
I try and do it all the time.
