Saturday night at the GOP debate in New Hampshire belonged to the executives: the governors and the businessman.
Indeed, if Saturday is any indication of what kind of debater Donald Trump can be, then it's safe to say that it really was a mistake for him to skip the Fox News debate before the Iowa caucus. He may very have won it if he had shown this kind of strength and adeptness just days before Iowans went out to vote.

PING!
Thought Trump did quite well. Don’t want to jinx it but I think he’s got NH locked.
My aunt’s bday party was tonight so I missed the majority of the debate, great to hear that Trump did so well :-)
Rubio definitely was the big loser. Last week (or the week before?) I saw Rubio interviewed on the Greta Van Susteren show. She asked him a question and he gave her one of his rapid, memorized regurgitations. She asked him a different question and he immediately regurgitated the exact same answer. Since I was only half paying attention I put it down to my inadequate “reception” of what he was saying. After seeing him doing the identical thing in the New Hamshire debate, it was clear that he IS DEFINITELY ROBOTIC WITH “CANNED”, ALMOST RECORDED, “ANSWERS”.
I think there is something wrong with the boy.
>> and stacking the audience with supporters brought in by the Super PACs backing [Jeb]
Everyone knows.
Glad Trump dealt directly with the idiots in the audience.
Rubio comes off like a college kid, compared to the rest of the candidates. He doesn't project a manly, grown up aura, in any way, and even has the voice of a youngster.
"Green" is an apt description of Rubio. He just sounds like a smart ass, fast talking freshman.
This was a really great night! Donald Trump’s handling of the situation when Dr Carson didn’t hear his name being called showed what kind of a man he really is. Donald’s handling of the donor-stacked crowd was really good. That alone was worth the price of admission.
Rubio will be sent back to his playpen.
There was a another guy there tonight.
He was a guy that has told us for years he was a master debater. He tried to make Trump look bad for not attending the Des Moines “set up” by FoxNews. He implied Trump was afraid to debate, and tried to call him out for a one on one.
Tonight he got another shot at Trump. Again, he came up with a big fat goose egg for his efforts.
There’s something really fishy about a guy that continues to brag about his debate skills, who never seems to win one against the other, by comparison “inferior” debaters.
Trump didn’t have to win tonight. He only had to hold his own. He did so. And strangely enough, the master debater failed to do any damage or gain any ground.
An amateur is standing right there waiting to be taught a lesson. Where’s the supposed teacher?
MIA
This guy didn’t do a terrible job. He wasn’t the worst there. He simply didn’t convert the extra point. At all...
Rubio had a bad night?
gee, that’s too bad.
I’m going back to sleep :)
Now, that is too funny. I laughed out loud!
Trump can smell clones from miles away. They were only there to boo Trump and cheer Jebby
Rubio is finished. Go Trump!!
A handful of the talking heads trying to say Rubio recovered by the end. Everyone else in the world disagrees.
His answer on waterboarding may have been the response of the year. Absolutely nailed it.
Pray America wakes
I turned on Fox News shortly after the debate and it was like they were in an alternate universe where Rubio shined. After about 10 minutes I had to go back to CNN. :-)
Agreed.
I went from ABC to CNN after the debate then to Fox News. It was like Fox News was in an alternate universe where Trump didn’t count and Rubio shined. Surreal!
