Limbaugh told listeners that he felt like a âlone wolfâ for appreciating Rubio, because so many people were angry at him for pursuing amnesty in the Senate with the Gang of Eight
(Excerpt) Read more at breitbart.com ...
Rubio has repeatedly stated that deporting 12 millions illegal aliens would be impossible. He speaks like a Leftist regarding illegal immigration and even when caught with his hand in the amnesty cookie jar has yet to proclaim he was wrong and would if elected POTUS enforce the immigration laws now on the books! Rubio is now at best sitting on the fence regarding illegal aliens and in my opinion would never veto amnesty legislation if it came across his desk as POTUS. Rubio has went from full out active resistance to enforcing immigration laws to a clandestine mode of passive resistance. Rubio can not be trusted; his actions thus far and the big money donors he breast feeds from objectively identify him STILL an anti-American people pro world order RINO scumbag!
Not really. I’m telling you that I don’t hear any candidate getting down to detail on this issue, which means they’re all the same. Sound bites. Trump, Cruz, and Rubio. All conservative enough, in my view, but all on an even playing field. So, in my opinion, Rubio is the best chance of getting someone in there who knows his base, and what they want.
You suggest that one of the other two will do a better job. I can’t take Trump seriously. The fact that so many here do, is somewhat surprising to me. His entire history really suggests that he’d be a social liberal, and a fiscal conservative, not both.
Cruz straight up will not appeal to the broader country. In some ways, he’s a conservative dream candidate. Hits all the marks, and literally pisses off half the country with every speech. I like him, but he does have his demons, his relationship with Wall Street, and the same businesses that love cheap labor for their own ends. Would he drop the hammer on them? I don’t know. But he hasn’t explained that this is a huge factor in Illegal immigration. It’s not just sound bites, it’s the details. In any case, he’d be more effective as a Senator, with Rubio as President.
What we really need is someone to do something about the questions I’ve already brought up, and more. Identity theft, lawsuit reform (someone in an illegal status cannot sue for discrimination when they are allegedly wronged), An illegal discovered in the military shall be discharged immediately, not rewarded. A much improved E-Verify system, that matches fingerprints, or some other biometric or photo, not just documents. No welfare, No in-state tuition, no drivers licenses, etc. Citizens can refuse to rent or sell to Illegals, and if they knowingly do, they can be fined. Etc.
Living in Arizona, I can see what the problems are. It’s my friends and neighbors, and my local businesses to some extent. I’m the only person who cuts his own grass, takes care of his own property, etc. All around me are Illegals doing those jobs. People that my own neighbors are inviting into the neighborhood every weekend, knowing exactly nothing about them. And I live in a “conservative” neighborhood. Full of people who love Cruz and Trump. So, I just see this for what it is. We have to win. Too much damage has already been done. I just happen to see Rubio as the best chance to get there. Cruz can keep him honest from the Senate.
Thanks, it gives me some measure of comfort to know there are still sane people who see the dirty hand of Rove et al.
Sorry that the Cruzers here are either blind or willing.
Then that is to say Rush really likes Clinton.
They fixed the lysteria problems...uhm...didn't they?
No, Rush is an anti-RINO.
I heard him yesterday.
Rush referred to ‘Gang of Eight’ as a mistake. Otherwise Rubio has been a conservative.
Rush did not endorse Rubio. I doubt he’ll ‘talk him up’ all that much any more than he defends Trump or praises Cruz.
Rush basically said that he forgives Rubio. The man had been severely flogged for years and years.
Reading the tea leaves — Rush is hinting that Rubio should be as respected by conservatives the same way Trump is. He’s not telling us to trust Rubio on immigration.
And as a Trump supporter, I agree. We need not destroy someone just because we want our guy to win the White House.
Okay, dipping a toe back in the primary arena since Rubio’s back in the mix. But I’ll try to emphasize the positive from now on rather than dwell on negatives.
I would really like to see Trump as our commander in chief:
Trump supports WATERBOARDING.
Muslim ban.
Letting our soldiers keep their guns.
In short, Trump is serious about the war on terror. He would boost morale and terrify our enemies.
And the Wall will help keep us safe as well. As a man who owns public buildings, he fully understands the need for walls and security measures.
The only president who started off with more executive experience than Trump was Ike. If somene adds Washington to that list, I would not dispute it, but that is how rare his expierence is. And he’s proven to be a top notch executive.
It's unfortunate that people think Blue Bunny ice cream ever did.
Let's hope these misunderstandings don't extend to Blue Buffalo dog food.
Or worse yet mistake it for ice cream.
Will this affect your plans to launch the Blue Dragon line of ice cream products? ;^)
That is true. Funny thing is, Trump can be charming. A lot of what people see is an act. Cruz, on the other hand... GREAT in all ways except his personality & looks. BTW, Cruz is still below the national Real Clear Politics average high that Carson had months ago.
Rush, do you like movies about gladiators?
If a Republican wins in Nov, we all will be stabbed in the back. I don’t trust anyone on the immigration issue. They will “evolve.” Just wait.
No kidding Rush... we knew that a long time ago!!! Psssst, so does Sean Hannity.
>>Rushâs mask has finally fallen, HE IS Rino, ALWAYS HAS BEEN.
I agree. He was conservative when conservatism and the GOP establishment were walking down the same path. When the two began to diverge enough to be consistency noticeable about 12 years ago, he went with the establishment.
Donald Trump has changed his position on things a million times but that's just fine. But Marco Rubio can't see the folly of his ways and change his position?
We're going to end up with the Clinton's in the White House. We got Obama for 8 years. Yippee. That will be 16 years of Socialists in the White House because the Republican candidate isn't Conservative enough for the purists. See what 16 years of Obama/Clinton gives us and get back to me.
Rubio will likely be our next President. Cruz will prevent Trump from winning thus clearing a path for Rubio to be the nominee. It’s 2012 all over again. Trump is Newt, Cruz is Santoium and Rubio is Romney.

You don’t understand modern politics. We’ve already had 27 years of Progressives in the White House. Rubio is a Progressive. The only difference in the Prog-R and the Prog-D is the methods for driving America into socialism. It’s all Cloward-Piven and Consciousness III and Agenda 21.
Then Rush is on my “dead to me” list.......
Hopefully he said something akin to ....”I really like Marco Rubio but he’s not qualified to be president”.
Taken out of context ?
Rush is GOPe, he is the mouth piece of the R wing of the uniparty. I can’t believe how many people Rush has fooled over the year. Wake up people! Rush went over to the dark side back when WH was president. Jezz
Trump will prevent Trump from winning...
I know it is had to fathom, but conservative voters will vote for the conservative candidates instead of the fake conservative candidate ...
The last thing I need is to hear is Limbaugh promoting a tea party betraying amnesty pimp for 10 months.
