"Turkey's prime minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has threatened Syria with retaliation for shooting down a military jet, and warned that Turkish armed forces will respond to any Syrian encroachment on the border.
Nato secretary general Anders Fogh Rasmussen said the alliance stands by Turkey but is not considering a military response."

“Turkish officials also say they did not know the jet was Russian until they had shot it down.”
That’s how airliners get shot down.
How can the Turks claim to have attempted a rescue? That would have involved going into Syria.
What was the excuse given why they shot the pilot coming down in a parachute?
Russians lying. What a surprise. /s
“Recorded just this morning!”
Both planes disregarded the warnings and then flew 2.19km (1.36 miles) and 1.85km (1.15 miles) into Turkey for 17 seconds from 09:24:05 (07:24:05 GMT), according to Mr Cevik.
So the warnings were every 30 seconds but the plane was only in Turkish airspace for 17 seconds (if you believe Turkey's version of events). What's wrong with this math.

Turkey is making a boatload of money from selling ISIS oil. I think they will do everything possible to stop Russia from bombing the hell out of the refinerys and oil trucks. Retaliation, possible.
Is there any other audio with an “answer” or recording of “we are going to shoot you down”?
Thanks
Really? A made up tape? The guy last night on the news he said they didn’t know it was a Russian plane.
Reminds me of the islamic pilots in “Team America, World Police”;
“Derka! Derka! Derka!”
Also, if the SU-24's were warned, wouldn't the pilots go into "active threat" mode and start DISPENSING FLARES TO DIVERT POTENTIAL SIDEWINDERS (AIM-9's)? They never did this which indicates to me THEY WERE NOT WARNED AND AMAZINGLY PROBABLY DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THE F-16'S WERE THERE.
Remember, the SU-24 is a BOMBER not a fighter jet!
You sure do worry a lot about Turkey.
Turkey is not a part of the United States.
Are you an American?
The lies are endless with these Islamofascist vermin. Kick them out of NATO. I'd rather have Russia in NATO than Turkey.
