Mark Levin gave a stern warning to both Donald Trump over his recent attacks on Ben Carson and Marco Rubio for trying to smear Ted Cruz on the Gang of 8 immigration bill, telling them both that their attacks are unacceptable to him.
He told Trump that if he continued these reckless personal assaults on Carson, he’d have to affirmatively oppose him.
He pretty much said the same to Rubio, pointing out that he simply can’t accept Rubio’s smear attacks on Ted Cruz and that it was his decision to support the Gang of 8 and he would have to live with it.

Why Levin likes pro-amnesty, mushy 2A, mother attacker, knife stabber Carson?
He may be an expert on the Constitution, but he seems to be a bad judge of character at times. He just loves Brett Baier and thinks he is a brilliant journalist. After that first debate - Brett can take a flying leap. Mark has also mentioned others who are rotten people - who he likes too. So, just because he is an expert on the Constitution, doesn’t make him an expert on anything else. He’s stuck in the 80s.
Then you no doubt have the proof my statements are incorrect. Just an opinion. Which isn’t worth much in the face of fact.

So why is Levin called a "Republican"? Is it because he will probably support one of the current Republican candidates?

Levin is a conservative, and brilliant but let’s his guard down a bit too much.
Rush is an entertainer...smart, and quick, but a bit more overly concerned with his brand more than anything.
I don’t think there is personal greivences between any of them...but its clear Levin is levels above Hannity on understanding the predicament we are in and how to fix it. Hannity thinks the GOP is the solution...when its just 1/2 the problem. Levin uses Hannity show to promote his ideas which the establishment rather not have any part of because they have a nice little cabal going there.
Again, Levin and Rush will be in Ted’s corner in the end.

There is exactly one ‘Republican’ following his party’s platform. The smartest thing he could do is go Indy since his fellows are not likewise principled.

Like you, I believe Levin (and Rush) is friendly toward Rubio -- a slick talker and evidently a charming personality, a la Bill Clinton -- but is now leaning toward Cruz because of his fundamental conservatism.
Trump was a registered Democrat, however, he voted Republican anyway. Ben just changed last year. He’s been a R for one whole year.
Trump smells blood in the water and his instinct is to go for the kill. I think he should ratchet it back a notch.
Rubio? Rubio is GOP all the way. F him.
You were doing good until the last statement. Rush will promote whichever candidate is winning and gives him the best ratings. Last time he was promoting Romney after Mitt won nomination.
Trump will have an Iphone and a Pen— just like the Kenyan. so get ready.
I don’t care about Levin’s scorecard. We each have issues that are important to us, and I suspect Levin is biased toward Cruz anyway.
Cruz will be winning. Rush will support him.
