Mark Levin gave a stern warning to both Donald Trump over his recent attacks on Ben Carson and Marco Rubio for trying to smear Ted Cruz on the Gang of 8 immigration bill, telling them both that their attacks are unacceptable to him.
He told Trump that if he continued these reckless personal assaults on Carson, he’d have to affirmatively oppose him.
He pretty much said the same to Rubio, pointing out that he simply can’t accept Rubio’s smear attacks on Ted Cruz and that it was his decision to support the Gang of 8 and he would have to live with it.

Exactly right. I used to have a lot of respect for him, but all these threats of leaving the Republican Party and then never doing it, makes me very suspect of him. He lasso shouldn’t even be considering Carson or Rubio, hell he should be ridiculing them!
To me, he’s starting to spend more and more time selling his and Father’s books.
Trump has dialed it back so its now a non issue.
I am pleased. It seems like Carson is willing to forgive, and so should I. (I am not voting for Carson, but I appreciate his graciousness.)

Why on earth Mark Levin has been protecting and amnesty pimp like Rubio all this time I can’t figure. He just can’t seem to let go of Rubio.
Has Levin been courtesy pinged to any of this, I wonder? I know he hasn’t posted here in a while, but it should be done, so here it is.
Nope. Not in the slightest. I’ll be voting for and supporting a conservative. I just have no desire to watch the conservative (snicker) media sharpen their knives on Trump so that they stab Cruz more effectively. And since Levin proved he can’t be trusted when he refused to stand behind his multiple threats to leave the GOPe, and that he has proved he will support the GOPe guy no matter what in the end, I don’t trust him to not turn on Cruz.
Thats one serious reason he should not be trusted.
Lets face it. If it was Joe Jones on Main St., we’d immediately call him an amnesty supporter for backing someone committed to amnesty. And we would be right to do so. Joe is working for amnesty by backing an amnesty pimp. But because it’s one of our Kardashians in the media, he’s off limits.
Nope. He isn’t. Not to anyone that wants to be honest about it. Rubio is in the Amnesty camp. Giving him airtime and defending him is promoting his ideas. His ideas are Amnesty.
One hell of a mixed message to denounce a thing and then be best buds with it’s biggest proponent in the GOP.

The only person that qualifies as a Republican in the traditionally accepted definition is Cruz. The rest are in several ways far off the platform and in the case of Rubio, Carson and Bush, they are closer in positions, stated positions, to the Democrat platform than the GOP platform. So at what point do we stop lying to ourselves about the “R” they loosely attached to their sleeve?
Levin has a record of chest pounding conservatism no matter what, right up until the GOP nominates a liberal. At that point he tells his audience that they have to elect that liberal no matter what because the dem is worse. And that is a behavior mirrored by Rush, Hannity, Coulter and the rest. Actually not Coulter. She’s still on a Romney love kick so she left the state, much less the rez, entirely.
What exactly is the point of beating ones chest only to, when it actually matters, say “You know what folkes? Forget everything I said. Forget what I wrote in my books. We gotta elect one liberal over another because. Just this once.
And then 2 years later do it with the house and senate. Just forget the chest beating rhetoric that reemerged the day following the election and continued right until the primary. Go out there and elect the GOP liberal because a GOP liberal that hands Barry 100% of what Barry wants is better than a Dem liberal that hands Barry 100% of what he wants because the Council of Conservative Unicorns temporarily suspended principle again.
Conservatism is not something to be cast aside ‘to win no matter what’. If it is, then why believe in it to begin with? If you just cast it aside at a whim, then what’s the point?

How can you say Cruz is a true conservative? He is supposed to be such a Constitutional expert, yet he ignored that when he supported TPP which robs us of our sovereignty. I WAS a Cruz supporter until two of his votes and his stand on increasing foreign workers when we have unemployed talent here in the US. Cruz still has less bad marks against him than any of the others. Trumps bad marks are negligable so he is my first choice. Carson shouldn’t even be in the race. He is just the “token” entry and has absolutely NO qualifying assets for president. I’m glad Trump put the pressure on Carson by using his own words against him.
