Mark Levin gave a stern warning to both Donald Trump over his recent attacks on Ben Carson and Marco Rubio for trying to smear Ted Cruz on the Gang of 8 immigration bill, telling them both that their attacks are unacceptable to him.
He told Trump that if he continued these reckless personal assaults on Carson, he’d have to affirmatively oppose him.
He pretty much said the same to Rubio, pointing out that he simply can’t accept Rubio’s smear attacks on Ted Cruz and that it was his decision to support the Gang of 8 and he would have to live with it.

I don’t think Cruz is a Catholic. Rubio used to be a Mormon before he became a Catholic. I thought Cruz was Southern Baptist?

I don't remember word for word what Carson said, so I shan't attempt to post it, because some Carson apologist will see it and go after me. I suggest that you look it up.

Reagan didn’t personally attack his opponents like Trump. He kept the attacks on the policies like Trump should do. Trump is effective when he sticks to the issues.

And it needs to stop killing it’s future workers so they have people from this country to work in them. Unless you want China ghost factories or factories with illegals and muslims working in them.
Since they will still be having kids instead of killing them.
But Norm, we are hearing that Levin is a apologist for Ted Cruz. Don’t ya know? He came up with that candidate chart and he is writing op/ed pieces to defend Cruz. How can he be a GOPE guy and do that?
I find Levin to be extremely smart, well read and very knowledgeable. I don’t find him to be always right or agree with him all of the time. I think he has been wrong more than once about people. I don’t know if he is that good of a judge of character. However I have learned quite a bit from him about the Constitution and other things. I too have been irritated by his repeated threatening to leave the GOP. Many times I have shouted at the radio “Just do it already! Stop moving the line in the sand.”
Levin criticizes the Golden Boy and all of a sudden a boatload of hate is unloaded on the guy.The Trump folk are very happy with you at this moment because Levin dared to scold their hero.
The bottom line is that talk show hosts are talk show hosts and they all usually have huge egos. There is no one you are going to not be irritated with from time to time. I stopped listening to Rush as I couldn’t stand his version of the Donald Trump show any longer. Levin is the only guy I can even tolerate now and I’ve been irritated with him too lately over his happy talk about Trump, Carson and Rubio.
Perception is funny. Depending on who your guy is one’s opinion is always a bit biased towards your candidate. I kept thinking that Levin was actually going to vote for Trump. LOL! Maybe he will!
This isn’t about Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity etc. It’s about people thinking for themselves. We should use these people as information starting points and do our own homework. Hero worship for a talk show host is just as silly as hero worship for a political candidate. They are all flawed in some way. We all are.

Levin is a brilliant, thoughtful conservative; though on occasion, he does struggle with the difficult balance of friendship and politics.
