Trump Surges: Rubio, Carson Flat; Bush Drops
Breitbart ^ | 31 Oct 2015 | John Nolte

Posted on 10/31/2015 10:58:33 AM PDT by Red Steel

In a rolling poll that was only partially taken after Wednesday night's debate, Investor's Business Daily shows Republican businessman Donald Trump surging. Last month Trump sat at 17%, today he sits at 28%. In this particular poll, this surge puts Trump back in first place against Dr. Ben Carson, who was leading Trump by +7 points last month (24% to 17%).

Trump now leads Carson by +5 points, 28% to 23%.

It's important to note that, compared to last month, Carson only lost a statistically insignificant -1 point.

Although the DC Media assured us Rubio was the Big Winner Wednesday night, the Florida Senator did not move the needle.

Sessions is too old! He could not follow Trump, leaving an open path for the GOPe to “re-engage.” Love Jeff, but like me, he’s past his sell by date!

Here is one for you. Chin up. Look how Cruz did post debate - 17%, plus won debate handily
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/10/31/post-debate-poll-trump-carson-lead-cruz-third/
Among those Republicans who watched the debate, Trump edges Carson, 25-24, while Cruz’s support jumps to 17 percent. Nearly a quarter of Republicans said Cruz did the best in the debate. He was followed closely by Florida Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)79%, with one-in-five Republicans saying he did best. Trump and then Carson round out the top 4 performances in the debate, according to Republican voters.

“When Yeb pulls the pin, where will his supporters go? Hillary or Bernie the Bolshevik?”

They will probably just stay home, since there’s really no place for them to go!

I couldn’t have said it better myself. In all honesty though, GWB was a much better choice than Al Gore or God forbid - John Kerry. Imagine the horror of either one of those. They might not have been as bad as obame - but still.......

“I’ve been for Cruz all along, but I’m beginning to think the only way to beat The Cheap Labor Express is with Trump.”

Unfortunately, yes. Cruz will likely RESPECT court rulings, which will tell him that anything short of full Amnesty for Illegals is unconstitutional.

Trump will likely tell the courts to SHOVE IT and force them to leave. I don’t like dictatorships, but if that’s what it takes to drive-out the totalitarian Baby-Boomer generation, so be it.

Cruz has literally argued in front of the Supreme Court and won.

he literally fought the Bush administration for the rights of Texas to execute an illegal meixcan immigrant.

He won that case in from of the Supreme court.

I think there is a good case for President Cruz and VP Trump.

He could not follow Trump

So let him serve one term as VP, then replace him in President Trumps 2nd term with someone who is younger and actually eligible.

VPs don’t become prez.
Cruz is far superior in many ways. Walking encyclopedia of history, constitution, etc. His campaign seems quite well run. I heard him with my own eyes answer the why not amnesty question: It is not fair to Americans and legal immigrants.
Despite the hype he is so reasoned and reasonable when answering questions. I have heard him reframe the question before answering often.
Americans will get to see the real Cruz despite everything the GOP, Dems, and the entire media including FNC and conservative gibberish columnists, outside of talk radio. And my bet is he wins it all.
I think he would be a fool to take VP though I see why you and others say so.
A mind like his needs to be put to the best use possible. If not prez surely not VP.

The one thing I haven’t heard anyone mention is that to even begin to get a handle on the deficit and pay down the debt, elimination of superfluous executive departments would be a big step.

Cruz needs to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The Senate would be happy to confirm just to get him out of their chambers.

Keep in mind, there's a good chance that next president will be replacing Scalia and Kennedy as well, both of whom will be 80 on election day.

They will all be wearing Trump ties before the new year. His standing up to the networks is just one of many things that will gain the other candidates respect.

By the time Jeb pulls the pin he won’t have any supporters left. They are already moving to Rubio.
