In a rolling poll that was only partially taken after Wednesday night's debate, Investor's Business Daily shows Republican businessman Donald Trump surging. Last month Trump sat at 17%, today he sits at 28%. In this particular poll, this surge puts Trump back in first place against Dr. Ben Carson, who was leading Trump by +7 points last month (24% to 17%).
Trump now leads Carson by +5 points, 28% to 23%.
It's important to note that, compared to last month, Carson only lost a statistically insignificant -1 point.
Although the DC Media assured us Rubio was the Big Winner Wednesday night, the Florida Senator did not move the needle.

Heads must be exploding down at the Communist Democrat Party headquarters and in the cubicles of their state controlled “media” offices. It appears Trump is wearing the same amount of Teflon that Clinton is wearing.
I’ve been for Cruz all along, but I’m beginning to think the only way to beat The Cheap Labor Express is with Trump.
Carson and Rubio are both advocates of amnesty and surrender to the illegal aliens and their employers.
If we lose this, we lose our country.
IBD Showing Carson ahead 7 by push poll methods cost subscriptions. Do it honest, and you might come back...
We need this election - period. I want Cruz as VP - that will give him 4-8 years as a sitting VP, and if Trump is elected and does half the things he wants - that will put Cruz in a prime spot to win the presidency then. He will be seasoned. And, God forbid, if anything should happen to President Trump - who better to take the reins of the government than Cruz? Besides as VP, Cruz would be the chief officer over the Senate and that will give him a bully pulpit to get some good things done through the Congress. Hehe - that should make RINO heads explode!
Trump is upping his criticism of Carson but he has yet to utter a negative peep re Cruz. People have long speculated that Trump and Cruz have an understanding. Let’s hope it’s true.
The understanding is called Vice President Cruz. Works for me. VP Presides over the Senate. McConnell better get a good stock of depends for when Cruz will be there.
“Iâve been for Cruz all along, but Iâm beginning to think the only way to beat The Cheap Labor Express is with Trump.”
Me too, but I think the way to get Cruz elected is through Trump with a Trump/Cruz ticket.

It’s sad that we are constantly on defense.
The perfect ticket is Trump-Cruz with Cruz as president in the next round after four or eight years, depending on if Trump wants to run again.
We are lucky to have such great Repubs running. Actually, any single candidate on that panel would be far better than the evil Hillary. And, she is evil.
That is exactly my analysis, Cat. We’re on the same wave length.
Jefferson Sessions as Vice President
Department of State, (return INS.) John Bolton
Department of Justice Rep. Steve King
Department of Treasury, (includes former Homeland Security Customs) Carl Icahn (Offered and Accepted)
Department of War, (change the name back.) Include former VA function Gen. James Mattis
Department of Interior, (includes the legitimate functions only of former Dept. of Transportation, Dept. of Homeland Security Border Patrol, and Energy Departments) Gov. Palin
Department of Labor and Commerce Herman Cain
This proposed model has the President directly managing seven subordinates which is optimal.
Department of Homeland Security ELIMINATE
Department of Education ELIMINATE as proposed by The Donald, 9/23/25 at a Columbia, SC Town Hall with Sen. Tim Scott.
Department of Energy ELIMINATE
Department of Health and Human Services ELIMINATE
Department of Housing and Urban Development ELIMINATE
Department of Veterans Affairs ELIMINATE
Department of Agriculture ELIMINATE
Department of Transportation ELIMINATE
On Fox news Sunday, 10/18/15 Trump said he would cut funding for EPA and Dept. of Ed.
In non-cabinet level jobs
Sheriff Clarke should be FBI Director
Michelle Bachman as IRS Commissioner under Secretary Carl Icahn in Treasury
Admiral James A. Lyons as Undersecretary of War Navy Branch.
LTC Allen West as Undersecretary of War Army Branch.
Lynnette Diamond Hardaway and Rochelle Silk Richardson would be great as President Trumps Press Secretaries.
Marsha Blackburn, Speaker of the House
Ted Cruz as Senate Majority Leader.
As of now Silicon Valley will go Trump.
My ideal ticket!!!!
Watch the video of Trump this morning in Norfolk, VA. Another great speech. Trump was very serious in the speech when he explained his policy plan for vets and the VA. His speeches are getting better and better.

When Yeb pulls the pin, where will his supporters go? Hillary or Bernie the Bolshevik?
I’m all over it! Yes!
“We need this election - period. I want Cruz as VP”
Absolutely! We need a succession path that excludes any more RINOs! Just look and what being forced by the GOPe to take that WF GHWB did to the country! It brought us Slick for 8 years, followed by “W” for eight, followed by the half-breed for another 8! Twenty-eight years of $hit “leadership,” a third of my lifetime! Just think where we would be today if a Trump or a Cruz had followed Ronnie! As it was, we got a succession of “it’s my turn” worthless GOPe turds who didn’t even win.
