Hey all, I certainly wasn't expecting to be posting a vanity like this when this morning started. Mrs. Doomonyou and I moved to Texas a month or two ago fulfilling a five year dream to get out of CA for a red state and God answered big time. We're still getting moved in and the new job is going great. As a result of getting out from behind a desk and out in the field I'm away from a total A hole boss. Anyway, I dumped about 18 pounds just being more active and out of the stress. So two weeks ago I'm starting to feel kind of bloated and full all the time and tired due to having problems falling asleep. I've been eating as much as comes out the backside which isn't Much. This morning I saw my Doc, had blood, urine work and a CT scan. Wasn't sure what to expect.

Really great to hear you are making progress and able to find time to enjoy life. I have a 300 BLK rifle that needs to fulfill its destiny hunting pigs.

Important update:
THAT. WAS. FREAKING. AWESOME!
We had three hours flight time total so with four shooters we each got 1 1/2 hrs trigger time. The helicopter flight alone was a gas! Add an AR and a pouch with about ten 30 RD mags, it's the most fun you can have with your clothes on.
We hunted a 30,000 acre ranch about a hour and a half NE of Abilene, saw probably 50/60 deer, 40/50 turkeys plus lots of pigs and coyotes. Had EOtech red dot sights on DPMS AR's. Will post a link to the video when we get it.
Total carnage was 27 pigs and 23 coyotes hammered.
Seriously crazy - coyotes running like Barry Sanders through the brush and trees, copter juking and jiving, lots of lead flying! That hour and a half seemed like ten minutes.
Highly recommended!

Sounds like fun. My rabbit hunts are more stealthy. I would walk through a deeply eroded crevice in the canyon and pick the cottontails off with a Benjamin .22 pellet rifle. Adequate for food and pelts. Not nearly as exciting as your trip.

Hi All,
Been a rough week. Restarted Chemo last Monday after a 6/8 week layoff to give the body a break and felt prey good during that time. I got the gut drained about two weeks ago and they pulled four liters after eight weeks or so, but it resulted in some continuous gut pain, so they drained me again the day after the first chemo, another four liters. I got a work day in last wednesday but it was tough, thurday and friday was a combination of vomiting and some pretty serious pain, so last Saturday we checked into the emergency room and got some IV fluids, nausea meds, and some broad spectrum antibiotics for a couple days. I was also introduced to IV pain meds (dilaudid) , man, that was a relief. So by monday we had the nausea under control, slight fever eliminated, and pain more or less manageable. So before I was released, they drain my gut AGAIN, 5.2 liters in 6 days! So looks like this crap is back with a vengeance. So I'd like to ask for some prayers for the rest of the week for comfort and some peace. Also we will be at NCI (Maryland) on the 10th for PET and CT scans, plus meetings with the Oncologist and a surgeon, so prayers for safe travel and a good meeting with the pros so we can come up with a good game plan going forward.
Thanks All,
Jeff and Lisa.
