Hey all, I certainly wasn't expecting to be posting a vanity like this when this morning started. Mrs. Doomonyou and I moved to Texas a month or two ago fulfilling a five year dream to get out of CA for a red state and God answered big time. We're still getting moved in and the new job is going great. As a result of getting out from behind a desk and out in the field I'm away from a total A hole boss. Anyway, I dumped about 18 pounds just being more active and out of the stress. So two weeks ago I'm starting to feel kind of bloated and full all the time and tired due to having problems falling asleep. I've been eating as much as comes out the backside which isn't Much. This morning I saw my Doc, had blood, urine work and a CT scan. Wasn't sure what to expect.
Thank you for the update.
Prayers up.
Keeping you guys in my thoughts and prayers.

Wonderful news.
Stay with it Jeff, prayers continue!
Thanks so much for the updates it is wonderful to hear that our prayers are answered and though your struggles continue we also see His plan for us is merciful.
Continuing to pray...
More prayers for you and your family.
I’ve been through chemotherapy (stage 3 Hodgkins, 25 years ago) and it wasn’t any fun. But it sounds as if you have an excellent doctor.
God bless.
Please pray for Jeff and Lisa.
See Post # 497 for the latest update on his appointment with MD Anderson.
Jeff, I think your sense of humor might be a cure. If only you could bottle it up and sell it. :-) Hold onto the good news - that the chemo is working.
May God bless you and your wife and family.
God bless you and Lisa. May the Healer touch you as you continue to praise Him!
Continuing heartfelt prayers offered for your eventual good
health and happiness. May God Bless you and your family.
In the Holy Name of Jesus, I humbly pray, Amen.
Praying.
Praying for you, and for a miracle in your life with your cancer treatment. Am so happy you have a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. May God bless you and your family.
Hang in there Bro. We are praying. You know He’s ‘got it’ and that is your best medicine.
God Bless
Prayer up.
Still praying.
Take care. Thank you.
It's been a while since the last update but there wasn't much going on, just working, getting through the chemo and the lovely side effects for the last couple months.
First off, thanks for the continued prayers!
I finished the first round of six chemo treatments three weeks ago. Lisa and I are heading out Easter Sunday on a road trip back to MD Anderson. Monday after blood work I get a CT scan, the first since after Chemo #2. Then Tuesday we'll meet with the Oncologist and talk with a surgeon to see if surgery is an option at this point.
I Think our options will be continue with the chemo, surgery and HIPEC, or some combo, or who knows what. Gods in control so we'll see what he brings.
A couple of things of note: the side effects have been rather subdued for the most part except for on day 9 or 10 after chemo I've been hit with gout. First go around (after chemo #3) was right foot, the chemo #4 was left foot (a really nasty flare up), then #5 my left wrist (That was bad), then after #6 both middle toes, but had a dose of prednisone on hand (finally learned) that nipped it in the bud before it got nasty. So it's been a pain free last three weeks.
And today I went in to get my gut drained (it's been a month since the last time.) and the Doc kicked me out because there wasn't much in there! So the chemo has been working. Just before the second chemo I got 5 liters of fluid drained off (3 weeks accumulation) now its no drainage needed after a month. So I look at that as great news! The last drain was 4.5 liters after 5 weeks. So it looks like the weight I gained is real body mass and not just cancer infused green/brown liquid.
So Prayers for safe travel and good news from MD next week!
Thank you all again for your prayers!
PS. Helicopter pig hunt this Saturday! There will be video!
