Two debates tonight on CNBC live from the Coors Event Center at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
The 'kids table' started just after 6 p.m. EDT with Sen. Lindsey Graham (SC), Gov. Bobby Jindal (LA), former Gov. George Pataki (NY), and former Sen. Rick Santorum (PA).
The main event at 8 p.m. EDT will feature Donald Trump (NY), Dr. Ben Carson (Fl), Sen. Marco Rubio (FL), former Gov. Jeb Bush (FL), Carly Fiorina (CA), Sen. Ted Cruz (TX), former Gov. Mike Huckabee (AR), Gov. Chris Christie (NJ), Gov. John Kasich (OH), and Sen. Rand Paul (KY).
Moderators for both debates are: John Harwood, Carl Quintanilla, and Becky Quick.
ok, I’m not just being a Trump cheerleader but he would help the U.S. & conservatives in a couple of ways.
1) He’s not a career politician, he’s a business man. Most pols know the words but don’t understand the economic piece.
2) He has a positive outlook, an optimist. Everyone else tells us we’re just screwed by our gov’t but Trump wants to turn it around.
3) He never needs notes because he believes what he says.
4) He’s smart, successful, and willing to work and restore our country.
And #1 should have been will build a wall and deport illegals.
Reince is echoing what the candidates said. No way he’d go out on a limb on his own.
Actually, I saw the interchange between Trump and Kasich and my mouth was agape, at just what an @$$ Trump is. And I don’t like Kasich at all, but Trump really goes for the jabs.
Then I imagine how he would treat other world leaders, our allies, etc, when they disagree with HIS ideas. No thank you.
A straw man argument concerning these debates. It's not the place for high brow constitutional debates. And what candidate did mention the constitution?
Trump has a written 2nd amendment policy. His immigration policy discusses the constitutionality of birthright citizenship. His entire stance on immigration and one-sided trade agreements is based on the need for US sovereignty and an actual border. It is assumed that a president will obey his oath of office, though Obama certainly has not followed the oath.
Oh yes you are.
Got it off Facebook. Share away.
Trump, Carson and Cruz should insist that Newt Gingrich be the sole moderator of the next debate or they won’t attend.
Oh yes...he certainly does; not the least of which is that S&M club he ebelonged to and the dead girl!
[I HAVE read it you troglodyte.]
I suggest you buy a copy of the Verbal Advantage more effective writing course to get your point across a little clearer.
My sentiments Exactly!!!
Fiorina lost a lot of points when she said that Uber drivers etc. did not need to get a 401 K. She was totally unprepared. She should have said that there should be products available to allow self employed people to save for retirement - the same percentage that employees save in a employment retirement plan.
Bush was blah.
Christie wants people who paid all their life into SS to bend over and take it. I am not bending over.
I liked Trump and Cruz.
Rubio looked bad with his poor attendance record in the Senate.
Your comment makes no sense...You compare Trump favorably to un-named politicians who failed in their promises.
That has nothing to do with what I said, when I essentially accused him of being a little light on substantive comments in the debate tonight. In fact, in all of the speeches I have watched, his words lacked any real substance either. Just one liners, and self promotion.
But even taking my comment that far, it still bears no relationship to your comparison of a never elected to anything, businessman and some lying politicians who essentially are just politicians...they all, for the most part, lie like rugs..
So how can you say that a untested businessman will not upon election, become a politician? Because he will be a politician in every way and there is no track record to say what he will do or is likely to accomplish.
It’s all in your head..
Polls schmolls
I think the biggest indicator of who wins a debate, is what people are saying on message boards, facebook, unbiased (or even left wing biased) sites.
Not everyone is polled. Not everybody takes a poll.
On Hannity, Trump said Kasich is a good guy but has to attack because of poll #.
Trump is in a race for the nomination, not talking to world leaders. If he were the person you people try to make him out to be, he wouldn’t be a billionaire because he would have pissed everyone off. He can be a statesman when needed.

“Then I imagine how he would treat other world leaders, our allies, etc, when they disagree with HIS ideas. No thank you.”
Others have put this to Trump. He said he is campaigning now, this is not how he conducts business or political relations.
Well well well...so these people lied...AGAIN!!!
I thought she did an admirable job explaining exactly why this is a bad idea.
LOL, and my husband is listening to some talk show (in between baseball) and they are saying Trump bombed, he is on his way out.
