One of the Clintons oldest and most trusted legal advisers has urged Hillary to hire a criminal defense attorney to represent her in case shes indicted for mishandling classified documents on her private e-mail server and for lying under oath.
The adviser, who has been a Clinton confidant for more than 30 years, laid out his concerns about Hillarys legal exposure in a wide-ranging interview.
This e-mail thing is spiraling out of control, he said. To paraphrase John Dean of Watergate fame, its a cancer on her candidacy.
Frankly, he continued, I am used to my advice on legal matters being taken very seriously and acted upon by the Clintons. Ive told them repeatedly that this FBI e-mail investigation could go in a very dangerous direction very quickly.
I think Bill takes the matter seriously. But Hillary is still acting as though its a political smear job by right-wing zealots.

If Hillary follows the Bill model, she'll end up in prison.
Her best option is to be indicted and arrested. That way she’ll have a legal reason not to answer Big Media questions.
Oh...to see this criminal psychopath in shackles in prison.
She’s hooped either way.
Right now no one trusts her, and that won’t improve if she’s indicted. Voters will draw their own conclusions.
Hillary is trapped in a box entirely of her own construction, and it’s beautiful to watch.
Bwaahahahaha!
She's got health problems.
She knows things about the Obama Administration.
Her whole life is about to fall apart.
I think her time grows short one way or another. Someone will pull the trigger: God, Obama, herself.
Come on Hillary! Flip ‘em off! Snear at ‘em!
When she hires a defense lawyer, she’s admitting it isn’t political anymore.
She won’t do that until they slap the cuffs on her.
This is all part of her defense. Look at how long this has drug on.
What does Barry conclude?
Sad thing is over 40% of voters would still vote for her.
a) ignore this advice and proceed merrily onward . . . only to be perped walked later.
Or
(b) Start saying "Under advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer that question."
Both are good!
What a hag.
It should be obvious to even the most casual observer.
Obama has decided to let justice take it's course, for once.
Otherwise this would have been over and done in March.
The National Security Infrastructure is pushing HARD for this one.
Hope so!
Will she be able to participate in a debate? Can we retrofit the White House with steel doors and iron bars on the windows? /s;)
Or, to wake up one day to: "US Marshalls and the FBI today arrested Hillary Clinton at her home with the cooperation of Secret Service Agents present. Those agents have accompanied her to the Federal Building in New York".
She can have it ... we’ll just take the other 60%, the normal working people who still feel patriotic and are fed up with the socialist-multiculti-transgender freakshow
It might well be that Hillary is adopting a new strategy outlined in the article as being recommended by the anonymous confidant which is an attempt to begin to portray Hillary more sympathetically as someone who has simply been caught up by events etc.
If so, it means that the Clinton campaign has become more concerned about the crimes than the campaign. Hillary is in a box, if she ignores the crimes and pursues the campaign she invites the anger of the federal prosecutors. If she panders to the prosecutors and admits some sort of misstep, if not actual crime, she could forfeit the campaign. If she forfeits the campaign, she loses her leverage to evade the crime.
What is a felonous feminist to do?

Bill and Hillary Clinton are the penicillin-resistant syphilis of our political system.
Bill is probably eager to get this cankle legged albatross from around his neck and safely socked away in a federal prison somewhere.
He’s got a few more good years of rompin’ and rapin’ left in him.
